He said, "A man's taste in cars and the type of women he likes match up pretty well."

My Family's Car Life

Hobby of cars = type of women you like?

My husband once told me that he was

I've found that men's taste in cars and the types of women they like are often the same. My statistics so far are quite credible."

He said. I've never heard of such a story... butThen who likes Ferraris?"I asked.

You are a "look-at-me, show-off kind of guy. Cars are a part of fashion for me. That's why I like beautiful, glamorous, model-like women.

And. Well...if you ask me, I certainly feel that way.

Consider different patterns.

Then...Who likes old classic cars?"

Older cars break down more often and require more money for maintenance. So a woman who needs constant attention, or a woman who needs to give him a present on every anniversary, or a woman who can turn herself around would be good.

I see.'Well, who likes Priuses?'

"I think a woman who doesn't cost a lot of money and doesn't require a lot of help would be good. Someone who won't waste money when she gets married."

I see.

Then what about those who say, "I don't care what kind of car I drive?"

He said, "That's because I'm not interested in women. It's someone who doesn't care about those things."

...Well, I guess that's the way it is.

How is my husband's taste in cars?

And then it occurred to me.

If my taste in cars and the type of women I like match, does "my husband's taste in cars = me"...?

I would be shocked if I discovered that they are totally different, so I decided to think about it alone without asking my husband. Incidentally, my husband loves Porsches and is a big fan of the 981 Boxster GTS that he currently owns. You can read more about my husband's love for his Boxster in this article.

→[Reference article] Owner of the last NA 6-cylinder "981 Boxster GTS" talks about its appeal.

Thinking back, I often say things like this.

(1) Boxster is fun because the handling is not off by a millimeter.
(2) It's really fun to drive a convertible with the roof open and a sense of freedom.
(iii) I like the sound of the engine, not the vulgar blasting sound, but that is the tone and
It would be fun to drive a Boxster along the Romantic Road in Germany.
(5) It's not so much a car as a partner, buddy.
I don't care about the fuel economy, but it's good for this kind of driving.
(7) If the interior is a light color, you have to wipe it down often because dirt stands out, but black is good because dirt doesn't stand out.
(8) It's a car that is not driven very often in the city, so it's okay.
Even if my legs and back become weak, I want to drive this Boxster for a long time.

So, how do we apply these to types of women?

(1) A woman who enjoys conversation and communication with no gaps.
(2) A fun woman who can open herself up.
(iii) A woman with a good voice
(4) A woman with whom I can run along the Romantic Road in Germany.
5) A woman who is more like a partner than a wife
6) Women who don't save money, but don't waste it either.
7) Women who don't have to worry about it often and can handle it no matter how many things are going on.
(8) A rare type of woman that does not exist in the world.
⑨A woman with whom you can have a good time even when you become an old man.

So that's what it means.

Does Boxster really = me?

And here's the important part. Is this woman's type similar to my type? If they are not at all... well, that's just the way it is. So, I verified one by one.

(1) A woman who enjoys conversation and communication with no gaps.
→I think we have a similar sense of humor and way of thinking.
(2) A fun woman who can open herself up.
→If I saw what they say and do on a daily basis, I'd say they're not too cozy.
(iii) A woman with a good voice
→I can't say for sure...but my husband told me a long time ago that I sounded like Megumi Yasume.(Unfortunately, not the face, just the voice.)
(4) A woman with whom I can run along the Romantic Road in Germany.
→I've actually run with him on this one.
5) A woman who is more like a partner than a wife
→I think it's not far off the mark. They seem more like a team than a couple.
6) Women who don't save money, but don't waste it either.
→I'm not good at saving money. But I'm fine with Uniqlo for clothes and Gusto for dinner.
7) Women who don't have to worry about it often and can handle it no matter how many things are going on.
→I don't care about anniversaries. Or rather, I usually forget or don't remember.
(8) A rare type of woman that does not exist in the world.
→ Probably not the type of woman in the world in general, and I don't have many friends to talk to, and I'm glad I don't have many (explosions).
⑨A woman with whom you can have a good time even when you become an old man.
→I wish I were.

I wonder if it's not far off the mark... My husband is a man who values "living life to the fullest" and doesn't care about common sense at all, so I think he probably looks for that type of person in a woman as well.(I've never heard of it.)

Well, whatever it is, I have to keep improving myself so that I can be a woman worthy of the Boxster.

Mina.
