arm cover (e.g. chair)

In summer, arm coverings for sun protection(Arm cover)I often see women driving with However, arm covers are notIn my mind, I had the image of an old lady putting it on.I decided I would never do it.(I'm getting pretty old myself.)

The other day, however, when I was driving on the highway, the sun was so hot that my arms started to get a bit clammy. I was like, "Oh, my God!This looks like it's going to burn.I tried to hold the bottom part of the handle, but even though it was shaded, it was dangerous to hold the handle like that in case of an emergency.

I thought, "But I don't like arm covers..." But I decided to buy some at a hundred-yen store because I wanted to try things out. And I thought about putting them on on the highway on the way back home, but... I couldn't muster up the courage to do so, so I decided not to.(What courage!)

Arm cover installed

One day, about a month later, the midsummer sun was indeed too much, so I decided to take the plunge and put on arm covers. However, I was not sure if it would be a good idea to wearI've never worn it before, so I wasn't sure if it folds at the elbows or hides up to the arms....When I put it on, it was quite wriggly and quite uncomfortable.

I guess I should have bought better arm covers. Maybe it's because it's a hundred bucks...

The most discomfort I felt was.Lack of grip on the handleThey were "just a pair of gloves," but they're not driving gloves, so I guess that's not an option.... Also, I no longer feel frizzy from the sun, but they are a bit stuffy despite the mesh material.

After that, I decided to fill up the gas tank at my usual gas station. It was troublesome, so I kept my arm cover on and held a pistol-like thing to fill up with gasoline, but I thought the feeling was somehow different from usual.

That's when.

What was I thinking, I pushed the lever on the steering wheel on the way out as I plunged into the gas tank, and gasoline sprayed out of the tank with a pusher.

Wow! (╯°□°)╯

It only took a moment, but my arm cover was covered in gasoline. My clothes and shoes were fine, so the arm cover may have been a blessing in disguise...but I couldn't take the wheel with this smell and with gasoline on me.

I don't know what to do...

After thinking about it for a while, I had no choice but to ask the gas station staff to throw it away.

So.I originally bought it to try it out on the highway.I didn't even have time to try it out on the crucial freeway.I had to say goodbye to arm covers forever. And I will never, ever buy arm covers again (bombshell).
