New Panamera Turbo order to delivery time is approximately 7 months

Porsche Panamera

Panamera is currently on the sea

My husband this past weekend."Panamera, though, maybe soon.It should arrive at Toyohashi Port."He said.

Oh... yes...!

It would arrive at Toyohashi port, go through inspections, etc., arrive at a local dealer, go through final checks and inspections, and probably be in our hands within a month. It is like a dream.

Schedule for delivery

Regarding the time from order to delivery of the new Panamera Turbo, the person in charge told us that the Porsche dealer that our family has been working with has a long history of dealing with Porsche and has a relatively large allocation of production slots.

Still, regarding the new Panamera Turbo, it takes seven months from order to delivery.

A closer look at the details.

March 5: Ordered the new Panamera Turbo.
(At that time we were told that the production window would probably be in August, with delivery around November.)

Early June: Dealer informs us that they have obtained a production quota for July.

July 6: Dealer representative informs the company that "production has started at the factory.
(I was told that they might arrive in Japan sooner, maybe in October.)

August 3, the dealer's representative informs the company that the work is completed and on board.
(At that time, I was told that the earliest delivery date would be the end of September.)

September 2: Visit to the dealer for delivery procedures
(I was told that delivery would probably be in early to mid-October, and since I was planning to go to the WEC from October 14 in a Panamera Turbo, I begged them to somehow get the car there in time.)

I guess the production itself won't take more than a month. Once the production quota allocation is set, the rest seems to go smoothly, but I heard that even the dealer reps can't read the details. I guess the turbo, 4S, and e-hybrid are also different.

I wonder how many people in Japan are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new Panamera they ordered. Somehow, when I think of those people, I feel as if my heart is communicating with them even though we are far away from each other. w

And even if they make you wait that long, I am sure they will deliver a car that far exceeds your expectations, and that is what is so great about Porsche.

How many more sleeps and it's a Panamera.
