My Family's Car Life

Supercar Gathering @ Ashi Ari on Sunday AM

Every Sunday morning around 8:00 a.m., there is a super car gathering (?) at the observatory of Ashiyu Driveway. It's not a gathering, but rather a loose atmosphere where people come freely, drive freely, and return freely. It is not a gathering, but more like a loose atmosphere where people come freely, drive freely, and return freely.
Although I live near the Ashiu Driveway (about 10 minutes away by car), I had actually never been there. It is ...Many people come here to show off their cars, and it looks flashy, so it doesn't seem like it would be right for me."Because I thought it was a good idea.
Also, I have two small children, so waking them up early in the morning on Sundays to get ready to go out can be a hassle in its own way.

But this time... I decided to go for the first time because I decided to take this blog seriously and I heard that Mr. H (Lamborghini Urracan), who is a friend of our family (Ferrari California, 488 Spyder) was coming with his friend who knows him! We were very happy to see him and his family.

Weather today is clear and sunny! A great day for a drive!

Once that was decided, I woke up at 6:30 a.m. (I didn't have to get up that early) and left home at 8:00 a.m.

My husband and eldest daughter were headed there in a Boxster, and my second daughter and I in a Panamera.

When I arrived at the observation deck, Mr. H and his friends were already waiting for me, waving their hands to guide me, so I parked next to them.

It is overwhelming in this way....

I was allowed to sit in the driver's seat of a Ferrari 488 Spider.

Mr. and Mrs. S., who came in a Ferrari 488 Spyder, were very nice to my daughters, even though we had never met them before.Feel free to take pictures of the car, and you can even drive it if you want."And! ...but as expected, if something happened to me while driving, I would have to apologize for dying...so I decided to take his word and only allow him to take a picture.

A bright red Ferrari is really picturesque. It was so beautiful and the form was also beautiful.

The owner, Mr. S, was not interested in Ferrari at first because he had an image that "Ferrari is a car for showy people. However, the moment he went to the dealer and saw it, he fell in love with the beautiful styling at first sight.

The calipers also have the word Ferrari on them. The tires and wheels also look very expensive.

Since it's a Spyder, would you like to see the roof open?"Mr. S. was kind enough to show me the roof-saturation ceremony up close...!

Wow, I didn't know it worked like this. The mechanism seems to be similar to the Boxster GTS roof opening/closing mechanism, but I think it is slightly different. I guess it depends on the manufacturer.

furthermoreSince you're here, why don't you try sitting in the driver's seat?"Mr. S. said. Oh...I'll take your word all over the place and let you ride!

The view from the driver's seat looks like this.

The red stitching on the interior is stylish and cool. The interior is simple, not like a Porsche with a navigation system in the middle of the car. The casually placed bright red key is also indescribably nice.

Since I was there, I tried to imitate the driving. This is indeed a super car. The seats are sunken in, so it must feel like crawling on the ground when you drive.Even though it is about the same width as the Panamera at about 1950, it may seem difficult to drive until you get used to it because of its low eye level.

And then there are pictures like this. I am fond of close-up photos of emblems and letters. I like the close-up pictures of emblems and letters.

Next, I was also allowed to sit in the driver's seat of a Lamborghini Auracan.

Now, let's take a look at Mr. H's Lamborghini Uracan! Well, the sound of the engine is just a blast, so powerful!

And to Mr. H.You should try it!"I said, "Yes, yes, yes," and went to the door, but then I froze there.

...

...What, how do you open this door...(-_-)/!

I pushed it and some kind of bar came out, but I don't know what to do after that... Then Mr. H told me, "Pull the bar that came out and open it.

Wow, that's great, stylish, and innovative!I wonder why it is designed this way. I am sure there is a deeper reason behind even a single door.

The driver's seat in a Lamborghini is apparently also called a "cockpit."

That's exactly what it looks like when you ride inside. The buttons on the high-tech equipment seem to be simply placed, and it looks really cool. Really, it looks like an airplane cockpit (actually, I once took an airplane pilot's test when I was job hunting w)

Gas pedal and brake pedals look like this.

Holy shit, that's a long accelerator pedal! !!!!

Maybe it's because the gringo has big feet...but that can't be right. The seats are also decorated with Lamborghini emblems. Civvies!

Close-up of the emblem. This is the Lambo! This is the Lambo!

Mr. H is tall and has long legs, so he could not reach the gas pedal at all, and I tried to take a picture of him in an impossible position, with his buttocks half in the air.

(I didn't know my hair was this brown...)

I felt this when I went to Ashi Ari on Sunday morning for the first time.

After that, everyone ran around the Ashiu area in a group.(I stayed at the observatory because my eldest daughter wanted to play.)We all had lunch at Rokko Garden Terrace. I couldn't talk in detail because I was taking care of the children, but the wives were friendly and cheerful.(and a fashionable beauty)They were nice people.
I wondered why I had come here in my full-length Uniqlo outfit, and regretted it a little.(But I can't help it since most of the clothes I own are UNIQLO.)

Until I went to Ashiu, I had thought that many of the people there seemed to be out of my league, but I realized that this was just an assumption.

Listening to your stories, it was clear that you are positive about life, full of ideas, and have very high antenna sensitivity. They were not restricted by what they thought should be done, but instead said things like, "Wouldn't it be fun to do something like this? "Wouldn't it be fun to do something like this? I learned a lot from their discussions.

Above all, everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun and living a rich life.

Recently, I have been taking advantage of the situation I am in, and there are many things I need to reflect on. I also thought, "I am doing my best, so the way will open up someday. But waiting is not the way to go.Unless you stand in front of the door, open it yourself, and dive into the world beyond it, you will never grow or reach the next stage.

From now on, I'm going to try to broaden the range of people I associate with and venture into things I used to think I wasn't good at. And, Ashi Ari on a Sunday morning, let's go back there!

What is the fuel economy of the Panamera on this Ashi run?

This time, I drove around Ashiyoshi in Panamera's Sport Plus mode, but when I arrived home, I got 8.3km/l of fuel efficiency. The last time I drove up the hill to my house, I got 9.1km/l, so I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
(Later, my husband, who saw this article, said to me, "Well, we were going downhill all the way back from Mt. Rokko, so we'll get 9.1 mileage. (Sorry, I see.))A separate article will be written about driving in the Sports Plus mode.
