Sport Chrono Package

My Panamera Turbo has the optional Sport Chrono Package, so I can choose the Sport Plus mode. When the Sport Plus mode is selected, theEngine, transmission, and chassis perform(Hardening of the undercarriage)setting (of a computer or file, etc.)and will be suitable for races and circuits.

For more information.Car Configurator PageIt is explained in the following section.

In fact, in the six months since I bought the car, I had never driven it properly in Sports Plus mode, so I tried it out last weekend at Ashiu Driveway. So I tried it out last weekend at Ashiu Driveway.

Five things I felt

1 Engine sound becomes high-pitched

When the accelerator pedal is pressed in Sport Plus mode, it is immediately apparent that the engine sound changes. The engine sound of the Panamera Turbo in normal mode is rather low-pitched, but it is replaced by a "whirr" sound.(Can't think of a better way to describe it...)The sound changes to a high pitched "I" sound, which is more sporty and pleasing.

2 Lighter and smaller car body

In reality, the Panamera is not necessarily lighter or smaller, but it feels like a 911 all at once. The Panamera feels one size smaller and even easier to drive. Goro Okazaki, a motor journalist, also commented, "The Panamera is a lot smaller than the 911.When I drove on the mountain roads, the Panamera seemed to get smaller and smaller." he said in the review.

3 Smoother handling

The suspension will be hardened.(Panamera Turbo has air suspension)The body becomes more muscular than before. The handling becomes smoother, and the car turns around curves as smoothly as you want it to, as if you were stabbing it, so much so that you feel as if you are a better driver. The vehicle height is also lowered by 25mm from the normal height.

4 The vehicle is more stable at a certain speed.

On an uphill curve, it is easier to make a stable turn at a certain speed than to be afraid to accelerate moderately. The speed is also felt to be quite slow, so there is no fear at all.(But be careful not to get carried away and step on the cat's eye.)

5 Pull to about 4000 rpm.

In normal mode, the gear changes quickly, usually at about 2000 rpm, but(It immediately goes into 5th or 6th gear as soon as the light turns green and you're going a bit further). When set to Sport Plus mode, it pulls up to about 4000 rpm to extract all the power the car has to offer. But I'm a coward and I immediately ease off the gas pedal... they say if I don't ease off, it will run at a higher RPM.

Also, every time I got scared and eased off the gas pedal, I often felt a jolt when changing gears, but that was simply because I was too unskilled a driver.

I think I have only felt a few percent of the power of the Panamera Turbo, but after driving in the Sport Plus mode this time, I was able to see that the Turbo has a lot more power than the Panamera Turbo.I never knew driving on mountain roads could be so much fun!"I felt again.

Sport Chrono Package required

In fact, my husband had retrofitted the previous Panamera Edition with the Sport Chrono Package. Yesterday it occurred to me, "Why do you want the Sport Chrono Package so badly?" I asked my husband. He gave me this answer.

I see that. The Sport Chrono Package allows the car to reach its full potential.I can't imagine not having it. I would not have given up on the Sport Chrono Package, no matter what the other options."

I see. I have heard that humans, too, have only a small portion of their potential that is manifested and 90% of their latent abilities that are dormant. I wish there was a machine that could put a sports chrono package on a human being and pull out all the power he/she has at the push of a switch...

I am feeling a bit paranoid these days.
