Tickets for Porsche Experience Day 2018, Sunday 6/17, just in the mail!

Porsche Experience Day
My Family's Car Life

Porsche Experience Day 2018.

Yesterday, our Porsche dealer's representative, Mr. H., went out of his way to'Porsche Experience Day 2018'tickets to the event were delivered to my home. Inside were these guest passes and

It contained a parking ticket.

To park in the guest parking lot, you need to present this parking ticket.
(I took a picture but it was dark and poorly done, so I borrowed the data)

My family's dealer alone has already sold 500 tickets, so I'm sure there will be a huge crowd of Porsche fans on the day of the event.

About the overview.

For more information about the Porsche Experience Day, please visit

Dates: Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, 2018 (2 days)
*My wife and I are going on Sunday the 17th.
Hours: 8:00-18:00 on both days
Venue: Fuji Speedway, 694 Nakahinata, Oyama-cho, Sunto-gun, Shizuoka, 410-1307, Japan

The entrance this time is the "East Gate.

When I went to see the WEC last year, it was the West Gate, so you can't go wrong.

What is the highlight of this year's event?

What I am really looking forward to this time is, after allPorsche Parade Run."You can parade around the main circuit in your own Porsche.Limited to the first 70 people on both days.I heard that the reception desk will be located in the event plaza where the guest parking is located. Reception starts at 8:00 a.m., so I guess we have to start lining up at around 7:00 a.m.

However, the parade run is after all the Carrera Cup and races are over, so it will start a little later, from 5:20 p.m. on 6/16 (Sat.) and 5:30 p.m. on 6/17 (Sun.). Also, it seems that the races are often far behind schedule, so there is a possibility that it could be even later.

As for attire.

Driver: long sleeves, long pants, comfortable driving shoes(e.g., sneakers)
Passengers: Same attire as the driver is recommended.

I was planning to go with my Boxster this time. I was planning to go with my Boxster this time, but if I could drive on a circuit(Even if you can't run the bomb, it's a rare opportunity.)I'm still trying to decide whether to go with the Panamera Turbo or not - depends on the weather.

Other Activities

Other things I want to keep in mind are I think.

(1) 70th Anniversary Photo Spot

A professional photographer will take photos of guests and their cars to commemorate their visit, and the photo data will be downloaded to their smartphones on the spot. Registration will end when the planned number of tickets is reached.

(2) Special exhibition of Porsche Museum cars

The legendary rally car "Porsche 959″ and the new Cayenne are on display on the 3rd floor of the Pit Building A, along with the 70th anniversary history of the car. I am more interested in knowing the history of the 70th anniversary than in the Cayenne or 959 (explosion).

(3) Pit tours and grid walk

I have experienced the pit walk and grid walk at Okayama International and Fuji Speedway, but it was still a very valuable experience to see the race cars up close. I think there will probably be a crazy amount of people this time, so I might not do it if there are too many.(Basically, I don't like crowds.)

As for the Porsche lineup test drive event, I heard that you can test drive the Macan and newer models, but it was written that it will be on public roads outside the venue...well, if that's the case, I can test drive at my usual dealership, so I don't really need it this time.

I thought about and looked at the lead-in for the day.

Anyway, first of all, I had to sign up for the parade run, so on the day of the event, I headed to the venue to get there before 8:00 a.m.

(1) Parade Run Reception → (2) Reception for taking pictures of your car → (3) Guest Lounge → (4) Confirmation of Pit Walk and Grid Walk times → (5) Viewing special exhibits and merchandise booths, watching the race, etc.

I guess.

...I can't believe I'm thinking like this, I feel like I'm going to Disneyland...(-_-)

And so it came to light yesterday that I didn't get lodging.(We both thought we had it.)I was relieved to be able to find a place to stay, albeit a little far away from the hotel. I'm looking forward to it!

  1. How to Support Life

    Hi Mina.
As I commented a while back.
It's been a week since I returned to Japan (and my room is a mess).
I've "bumped" the panas order today.
32 million yen for a ride out. After all this time, it is still very expensive.
Payment of the application fee (15%) is due tomorrow.
We are hoping for a November or December delivery somehow.
Mr. H in charge: "Does it have to be executive? If it's a regular turbo
It's November for sure." He said.
For various reasons, it is Turbo executive.
There is one shocking thing. The body color is rhodium silver.
I was going to do it.
Mr. H said, "Sorry, rhodium silver, it's no good anymore.
I'll just have to settle for GT Silver..." That's 700,000 yen too expensive.
Next week, we will confirm the production quota.
I'll even take slots at other restaurants.
I'm counting on you, Mr. H.

I've ordered and settled in a bit. I'm going to start the daily calendar tomorrow.
    Beginning.

    Hello.

It's been a week since I returned to Japan (although my room is still a mess with moving stuff).
I've "bumped" the panas order today.
Finally, 32 million yen for a ride out. It is still expensive after all this time.

I'm supposed to pay the application fee (151 TP2T) tomorrow and then we'll decide on the production quota.
(Mr. H in charge) "Does it have to be an executive? If it's a normal Turbo, we can deliver it in November.
        I'm sure of it. executive?"
(Life) "This time it's decided to be EXECUTIVE."
(Mr. H) "All right, I'll do something about it, even if it means taking a slot at another restaurant! Okay."
I didn't quite understand what the "good news" was.

One shocker was the body color.
    (Life) "Well, rhodium silver, please."
(Mr. H) "What! No - rhodium silver, I'm not contracting it anymore.
It's gorgeous and beautiful with a bit of blue...but not GT silver.
       Is that wrong?"
is 700,000 yen more expensive than the special color.

But I feel a little calmer now that the order has been lived in.
Tomorrow, the daily calendar will begin for six months (blast).
