Participated in Porsche Experience Day & watched Porsche Carrera Cup @ Fuji Speedway

Porsche Experience Day 2018
My Family's Car Life

Go to Porsche Experience Day

today is the day!Porsche Experience Day."The day of the This morning was sunny after yesterday's rain.

Okay, that's good.

In participating in this eventThe one thing we couldn't pass up was the parade run. We wanted to participate in the parade run.The first 70 cars are limited to the first 70 people. Limited to the first 70 cars, they will be able to drive their own Porsche around Fuji Speedway.

The registration desk opens at 8:00 a.m., so we left the hotel at 7:00 a.m.

We arrived at the site at around 7:40 am.

But... there is already a long line!

I thought, "Eh, this is a little too much!" but I managed to get the 44th one.

Good for you!

Meanwhile, my husband was standing in line to make an appointment with a professional photographer to take a photo of our car, which he was able to do without any problems.

A wide variety of Porsches

I finished the reception and suddenly looked at the parking lot.Various Porsches, including some I had never seen before, were parked in the lot, making for an impressive sight. As I expected from a Porsche event, there are so many Porsches!(Sigh)I'm thinking that if a missile were to be dropped here right now, it would be a disaster...

911 Classics and

911 50 and

And the Boxster Spyder!

It was all so freaking cool!

Porsche Lounge

After taking pictures of all the Porsches in the parking lot, we headed to the Porsche Lounge, but there was another long line. As a couple who hates to wait in line, it was a bit painful, but it could not be helped. After completing the reception, we went to the lounge.

I got a 70th anniversary gift.

This is what it looks like inside when you enter the lounge.

356 cakes? There was also an object like that. It looks delicious.

Meanwhile, it was time for the grid walk...(Long lines again)

This time a 919 Hybrid Tribute(It wasn't an evo.)was to be seen, and the crowd around it was so large that I gave up taking pictures.(My husband looks like he got it.)

We were also able to see the Panamera and Panamera Turismo, the parade lead cars, up close.

It's cool to see the two cars side by side again. And white is cool.

Commemorative photo of my beloved Porsche

In the meantime, it was quickly time for the car photo shoot, and we walked from the paddock toward the parking lot to the photo point.

I thought, "They're just going to take a picture of me," but then I saw a three-dimensional artwork of "356" written on the floor.

Park your car at the photo point and shoot from the front, and you get this great picture!

This is a nice memorial!

Watching the Porsche Carrera Cup

Meanwhile, the Porsche Carrera Cup final race was underway, and I took pictures from the spectator's seats.

(My husband was frantically taking pictures with his telephoto lens lol)

When I returned to the Porsche Lounge, it was already time for the lunch buffet, but unfortunately it was full and I could not get a seat... so I am writing this blog from the terrace on the third floor.

Then it started to gradually clear up, so I wonder if it will be clearer by the time of the parade run... I wonder.

As for today's parade run, my husband was

I've driven Fuji before, and you can drive."

He said, "I'm going to drive," and to my surprise, I was the one to drive.

It's my debut on the track! (Holy shit!)

What if I fall for the charm (lol)? So, I'll try to write about the parade run in a separate article. Well, I'm off to watch the Porscherella Cup Asia now!
