Porsche Pickup

There is a service that allows people who have purchased a new Porsche to go directly to the Porsche factory in Germany for pickup.Factory picks."The service has been running for 65 years, with an average of 15 people using the service each day.

That's great.

If your area is in Europe, it would be a good idea to go and get them, but how difficult it would be to go and get them from Japan.... But then I found out that there is such a service.

A package is available for Porsche customers living in North America that combines a pickup of their car with a road trip in Europe. Porsche will organize the trip, incorporating the customer's chosen travel destinations. Everything from arranging personal travel, including hotel accommodations, to transporting the car (in this case to Canada) is arranged by Porsche. Once the trip is complete, the car can be dropped off at the Zuffenhausen and Leipzig factories, as well as in cities in 16 other European countries. From there, the Porsche can be shipped to the owner's residence.

I guess that doesn't make much sense to go get it. I wonder roughly how much it would cost...

Services not available in Japan

The official Porsche website shows that...

I looked at it, but when I first specified the area as "Japan", the notation for the Factory Collection was nowhere to be found. When I looked again, I found this notation.

*This service is not applicable in some countries.

Wow! I wonder if maybe Japan is not applicable.← Japan is not applicable.
