The Taycan Turbo GT is not just a higher trim of the Taycan. By deliberately omitting the \u201cTaycan\u201d badge, it clearly positions itself as <strong>a special model distinct from the regular Taycan lineup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Balancing_Overwhelming_Performance_and_Comfort\"><\/span>Balancing Overwhelming Performance and Comfort<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>At my home, I also have a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, so I can regularly compare both models.<\/p>\n<p>From that experience, it\u2019s clear that the <strong>Taycan Turbo GT is a fundamentally different car<\/strong>. While packed with racing car elements, it astonishingly achieves a very high level of ride comfort.<\/p>\n<p>What stands out is the overwhelming rigidity conveyed through the steering. The precise handling characteristics when carving curves on the highway perfectly embody the traits of Porsche\u2019s GT models. You can feel the refined handling feedback akin to the GT3 and GT4. Recently, I had a chance to exchange views with a dealer staff member who has been working since the 964 era, and we agreed that the Taycan\u2019s handling feel is actually closer to the old-school 911 than the current 992.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the cars differ in size, power, and many other aspects, but there\u2019s a curious similarity in driving quality. Most notably, <strong>even a short drive around town delivers pure driving pleasure<\/strong>. This is exactly what my 964 offers.<\/p>\n<p>Many Porsche models require ideal driving conditions or sufficient distance to reveal their true character. However, the Taycan Turbo GT can <strong>ignite your passion in just 10 minutes of stop-and-go city driving<\/strong>. This trait is shared with the 964. From development onward, they emphasize their character as racing machines distinct from regular 911s.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Porsche has a historical tradition of not displaying the \u201c911\u201d number on many 911 series models. There is a strong belief that <strong>model names like \u201cGT3,\u201d \u201cGT3 RS,\u201d and \u201cGT2 RS\u201d alone fully express their presence and performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The omission of \u201cTaycan\u201d from the Taycan Turbo GT\u2019s badges likely relates to this background.
