The car I purchased is this top model equipped with additional circuit-ready features.<\/p>\n<p>According to Kevin Giek, the Taycan\u2019s development lead, <strong>&#8220;This is the limit for a street-legal Taycan.&#8221;<\/strong> He emphasized, \u201cThis car is a dual-purpose vehicle that can go anywhere on the road and also run on the circuit,\u201d making it a <strong>super Taycan<\/strong> designed to balance everyday usability with track performance.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stunning_Specs_of_the_Taycan_Turbo_GT_with_Weissach_Package\"><\/span>Stunning Specs of the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The specs of the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package are truly astonishing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>0-100 km\/h acceleration in just 2.2 seconds.<\/strong> It reaches 0-200 km\/h in 6.4 seconds, and in overseas automotive magazine tests, it recorded a 0-60 mph (about 96 km\/h) time in the 1.9-second range\u2014nearly breaking the 2-second barrier.<br \/>\nPorsche tends to list conservative figures in their official data, so actual acceleration is likely even faster.<\/p>\n<p>Power output is <strong>789 horsepower in normal mode<\/strong>. During launch control overboost, it reaches 1034 horsepower, and <strong>momentarily peaks at 1108 horsepower.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35613\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_3844-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the inverter controlling the electric motors supports up to 900 amps in the Turbo GT, compared to 600 amps in the Turbo S, supplying more electrical energy to the motors.<br \/>\nAlso, <strong>the Taycan series features a two-speed transmission despite being an electric vehicle<\/strong>, shifting to second gear around 100 km\/h. This transmission is reinforced in the Turbo GT to handle higher input torque.<br \/>\nGear ratios are adjusted, allowing a <strong>top speed of 305 km\/h<\/strong>. Surpassing 300 km\/h is rare for electric cars, which usually max out around 250 km\/h. The Turbo GT\u2019s outstanding performance shines here as well.<\/p>\n<p>The front and rear spoilers are specially designed for improved aerodynamics. Lightweight ceramic brakes (PCCB) are equipped, with calipers usually yellow or black, but in the Turbo GT they come in a special Victory Gold color.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35606\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC05759-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Wheels of Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35571\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_4028-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Thorough_Weight_Reduction_with_the_Weissach_Package\"><\/span>Thorough Weight Reduction with the Weissach Package<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Weissach Package implements extensive weight reduction, shaving over 70 kg compared to the Turbo GT and Turbo S.<br \/>\nProof of this is the carbon full bucket seats installed and the <strong>removal of the rear seats.<\/strong> Although the rear doors open, the area where the rear seats used to be is covered with carbon panels, leaving only a small storage space.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35597\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC05783-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35595\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC05784-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To save weight, many comfort features are drastically stripped away. There is no adaptive cruise control, only traditional cruise control. The Sports Chrono Package clock is absent, and keyless entry does not automatically unlock when approaching the car\u2014you must press a button.<br \/>\n<strong>There is no 360-degree camera, only a rearview camera.<\/strong> For an electric vehicle, the electrical system is unusually minimal. There are no seat heaters or steering wheel heaters.<br \/>\nThe rear trunk opens manually, not electrically. The front trunk (frunk) lacks lining, resembling a plastic box. Sound insulation is also omitted, so road noise is noticeable.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Otherworldly_Driving_and_Flat_Ride_Comfort\"><\/span>Otherworldly Driving and Flat Ride Comfort<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When I visited the dealer for delivery, the receptionist told me, \u201cIt looks really cool!\u201d I have experienced many Porsche deliveries, but this was the first time I heard that, leaving a strong impression.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing it in person, the car sits even lower than a regular Taycan, exuding an intimidating presence. It truly feels like a <strong>4-door supercar.<\/strong><br \/>\nThe large carbon rear wing bears the \u201cWeissach\u201d logo, with a small ducktail below. The rear garnish features the optional illuminated light strip with a red Porsche logo, which looks stunning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35574\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_4025-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35605\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC05766-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_35612\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-35612\" class=\"wp-image-35612 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_3842-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-35612\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Inside the trunk, a small power dome with the \u201cTurbo GT\u201d logo is installed in the rear cargo area to accommodate the size of the new 900A inverter<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Inside, the carbon full bucket seats are equivalent to those in the GT3, making entry and exit a bit challenging. However, the seats fully envelop the body and enforce the correct driving position.<br \/>\nThe new <strong>Porsche Active Ride<\/strong> system comes standard (optional depending on grade), and it\u2019s excellent. When set, the car raises its height when the door opens and lowers when closed. However, with bucket seats, raising the height makes getting in and out harder, so I usually keep it off.<br \/>\nActive Ride also has a huge effect while driving, which I will explain in detail later.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_4006-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After completing the delivery procedures and leaving the dealer, I immediately sensed this car\u2019s extraordinary capability.<br \/>\n<strong>Honestly, I didn\u2019t have high expectations at first.<\/strong> I assumed the GT model of the Taycan would have a stiff suspension and high performance but would be difficult to drive in the city.<br \/>\nHowever, just a few dozen meters from the dealer, that idea was overturned. The ride was <strong>incredibly flat.<\/strong> I barely felt bumps, and my viewpoint didn\u2019t bounce up and down. Even during acceleration, there was no front-to-back sway; the car moved as if in parallel translation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;This is insane&#8230; this car&#8230;&#8221;<\/strong> I muttered to myself after a few hundred meters.<\/p>\n<p>This is largely thanks to Active Ride, an electronically controlled system that instantly adjusts ride height and tilt, also found in cars like the Mercedes GLS. But in the GLS, the difference between on and off or compared to regular air suspension was just a slightly better ride.<\/p>\n<p>In the Taycan Turbo GT, the ride quality is clearly superior.<br \/>\n<strong>It\u2019s a completely different experience from a Taycan without Active Ride.<\/strong> The flatness is on another level.<\/p>\n<p>Throttle response is excellent, and despite having 789 horsepower (peaking at 1108 hp), it\u2019s surprisingly easy to control at low speeds. BMW\u2019s M8 also moves with little throttle input but felt a bit intimidating. The Taycan Turbo GT\u2019s 1100 horsepower, however, feels completely manageable. The throttle opening and speed feel linear and natural, perfectly matching human senses. From traffic jams to highways, it\u2019s effortlessly drivable. <strong>This is Porsche. This kind of human-centric, advanced design is what everyone falls in love with.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35594\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC05791-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Handling on the highway is also superb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is the handling of a Porsche GT model.<\/strong> The steering feels rigid, and with minimal input, the car turns precisely. Lane changes are effortless, embodying the late Arimasa Tokudaiji\u2019s famous phrase, <strong>\u201cWith Porsche, the moment you decide to go somewhere, you\u2019re already there.\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\nHighway curves are fun, even without pushing the speed. It\u2019s enjoyable to drive at the 60 km\/h speed limit on the Hanshin Expressway. While the GT3 is also enjoyable, it loses some fun if you don\u2019t rev the engine. The Taycan Turbo GT, <strong>thanks to its electric motors, is fun at any speed.<\/strong> This is truly 1108 horsepower you can savor fully.<\/p>\n<p>Acceleration is terrifyingly strong, but Active Ride keeps the body perfectly level front-to-back and side-to-side, so there\u2019s no fear. It feels like <strong>riding on a board.<\/strong> Many electric cars accelerate fast but lack top-end speed, but the Taycan Turbo GT keeps accelerating endlessly.<\/p>\n<p>The PCCB brakes work excellently with no nose dive, again thanks to Active Ride. The car corners flat without roll. However, at very high speeds, it\u2019s better to turn off Active Ride to better feel the road surface. Incidentally, <strong>in Sport or Sport Plus mode, Active Ride\u2019s constant leveling control automatically turns off.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35583\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/IMG_3999-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Honestly, I like this <strong>Taycan Turbo GT so much that I worry I won\u2019t want to drive any other car.<\/strong><br \/>\nMy wife also drove it and could only say, \u201cAmazing!\u201d<br \/>\nTAKURO, a test driver who often appears on this blog (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/911_carreraT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TAKURO-san<\/a>), also drove it briefly and gave it high praise. He said he\u2019d want to sell his other cars just to have this one. I plan to share his detailed impressions soon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35599\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/DSC05785-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Interior of Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since I\u2019m still breaking it in, I haven\u2019t tried the <strong>attack mode activated by pulling the right paddle<\/strong>. Even in normal mode, the performance is more than enough.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, after delivery, I\u2019m even considering a complete overhaul of my Porsche lineup centered around this Taycan Turbo GT.<br \/>\n<strong>I don\u2019t care about resale value or anything trivial.
