This car fills the gap between the 911 Carrera and the more performance-focused 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid within the Carrera model range.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Major_Powertrain_Evolution\"><\/span>Major Powertrain Evolution<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The new 911 Carrera S is powered by a fundamentally upgraded 3.0-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder twin-turbo engine. As a result, it achieves <strong>significantly increased output alongside reduced emissions<\/strong>. With 353 kW (480 PS) and 530 Nm of torque, this represents a <strong>22 kW (30 PS) increase over the previous generation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35241\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/img_2-1-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"911 carrera S\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To achieve these performance and efficiency gains, Porsche fitted a new turbocharger and extensively optimized components such as the intercooler. The new sports car is based on the design of the previous generation 911 Turbo model. The <strong>Carrera S coupe accelerates from 0-100 km\/h in 3.3 seconds and reaches a top speed of 308 km\/h.<\/strong> Power is delivered to the wheels via an 8-speed Porsche Dual-Clutch Transmission (PDK).<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the new Carrera S comes with <strong>an 8-speed PDK as standard<\/strong>. This includes staggered tire fitment with 20\/21-inch Carrera S wheels, a sports exhaust system with silver tailpipes, and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), which is not available on the standard Carrera.<\/p>\n<p>The new braking system brings a major advancement in driving dynamics. Familiar from the 911 Carrera GTS, it features red brake calipers and standard front 408 mm and rear 380 mm discs, ensuring <strong>excellent braking performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Additional performance-enhancing options are also available. This price rise is justified by the enhanced standard equipment, though it is a significant increase considering that selecting these options on the older model would not have reached this level.<\/p>\n<p>Also, like other 2025 Carrera coupes, the rear seats are removed as standard but can be added back free of charge.
