A Porsche!\u2019 It didn\u2019t even have a badge on it. How did she know?\u201d I\u2019d written <a href=\"http:\/\/panamera-life.com\/entry\/2017\/08\/08\/112529\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about this before<\/a>, and at the time I remember thinking, \u201cI know I\u2019m biased, but <strong>it\u2019s amazing that my three-year-old can recognize a Porsche<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When I told my husband about it the other day, he said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">\u201cPorsche really is something else. They\u2019ve created a design you can recognize at a glance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Wait, what? (\u309c\u2200\u3002)?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Um\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I was talking about how amazing our daughter is, but my husband took it as an opportunity to praise Porsche. Fair enough\u2014he had a point. So I looked into it a little and came across an interesting explanation.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">What Porsche and Anpanman Have in Common<\/h3>\n<blockquote><p><em>One of the appealing things about the design is how it uses curves and rounded shapes, taking aerodynamic drag into account.<\/em><em> The use of circles is also said to make a design feel timeless and appealingly cute from a human-factors perspective.<\/em><em> In that respect, its use of circles is similar to what makes Doraemon so appealing.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">\uff0a<a href=\"https:\/\/detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp\/qa\/question_detail\/q1110817906\">What makes Porsche design so highly regarded? &#8211; About Porsche design&#8230; &#8211; Yahoo! Chiebukuro<\/a><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I can\u2019t say whether that explanation is right or wrong. But if <strong>\u201clots of circles = Doraemon,\u201d<\/strong> then it stands to reason that <strong>\u201clots of circles = Anpanman,\u201d<\/strong> too. And if <strong>Anpanman is a favorite with kids aged one to three,<\/strong> then maybe:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">Porsche has the same kind of instant appeal as Anpanman.
