It\u2019s a delightful read for any Porsche fan. I have several copies on my own bookshelf.<\/p>\n<p>So far, 675,000 copies have been printed, with over 93,000 copies of the latest 10th issue produced.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Special_Feature_Celebrating_50_Years_of_Turbo_Technology\"><\/span>Special Feature Celebrating 50 Years of Turbo Technology<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This commemorative issue focuses on Porsche\u2019s turbo technology, which has been a defining feature of the top models in every generation of the 911 series for 50 years.<\/p>\n<p>To mark this milestone, <strong>the spine of the 10th issue features the silver metallic color of the very first production model, the 911 Turbo &#8220;No.1&#8221;<\/strong>. This special car was created for the 70th birthday of Louise Piech, sister of brand founder Ferry Porsche.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dream_Garage_%E2%80%93_Tim_Swifts_Porsche_Collection\"><\/span>Dream Garage \u2013 Tim Swift\u2019s Porsche Collection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This issue also offers a glimpse inside the garage of British collector Tim Swift.<\/p>\n<p>His collection includes numerous classic Porsche models, including a 1980 911 Turbo. Swift has built an impressive collection with passion and care, ranging from rare models to lovingly restored classics.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-34412\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/img_25-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Classic Porsche\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Swift lives in an early 19th-century manor, and constructing a modern garage next door required a lengthy approval process. The completed 165-square-meter T-shaped building, flooded with natural light from skylights, provides a \u201cdust-free space\u201d for his cars. Here, <strong>air-cooled Porsche models like the 1971 911 T and 1997 993 4S are displayed like works of art<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rediscovering_the_Charm_of_Classic_Cars\"><\/span>Rediscovering the Charm of Classic Cars<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In &#8220;ORIGINALE&#8221; issue 10, <strong>Michelin\u2019s new tire &#8220;Pilot Sport CUP 2&#8221; for the Carrera GT is also featured<\/strong>. Former Porsche factory driver J\u00f6rg Bergmeister tested this tire at Michelin\u2019s test site and praised it as \u201ca completely new level of performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-34415\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/img_22-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Carrera GT\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the revival of iconic interior fabrics such as Pasha, Tartan, and Pepita is highlighted. These patterns were carefully examined by former color and trim specialist Dorothea M\u00fcller Goodwin. Thanks to Porsche Classic\u2019s reproductions, many historic sports and classic cars from the 356 to the 968 can now have their interiors restored to their original delivery condition.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-34417\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/img_8-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Classic Porsche\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Porsche is deeply committed to the preservation and care of classic cars.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The brand\u2019s spare parts and restoration experts have decades of experience with classic Porsche models. By developing, manufacturing, and supplying over 80,000 classic parts, the sports car maker supports owners in keeping their cars healthy and on the road for as long as possible. <strong>About 200 original parts are re-released every year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Factory restorations and responding to individual customer requests through the Sonderwunsch (special request) program are also important business areas.
