Last week, alongside Porsche\u2019s launch of the latest 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring, Porsche Design introduced the new &#8220;Chronograph 911 GT3&#8221; and &#8220;Chronograph 911 GT3 Touring.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>These new timepieces are designed specifically for buyers of the new Porsche 911 GT3 or 911 GT3 Touring Package, featuring customization options that align with the car\u2019s specifications. Built on the Chronotimer Series 1, which carries the spirit of Porsche Design founded in 1972, these watches embody the concept of a &#8220;sports car on your wrist.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-34303\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Porsche-Design-Chronograph-911-GT3-and-911-GT3-Touring-2024-992.2-update-1-1280x853.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche Design Chronograph 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"High_Performance_Features_and_Refined_Design\"><\/span>High Performance Features and Refined Design<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The new Chronograph 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring are crafted from lightweight titanium, featuring a 42mm diameter and 15.3mm thick case. Buyers can choose between a glass bead blasted finish or a matte black titanium carbide coating. Sapphire crystal covers both the front and back, with titanium screw-down crowns and pushers positioned on the right side. The watches are also water-resistant up to 100 meters.<\/p>\n<p>A key highlight is the perfect match with the car and the ability to customize online. In addition to case finishes, customers can select either a matte or black bezel, and choose from pulsometer, tachymeter, or minute scale markings.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-34300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Porsche-Design-Chronograph-911-GT3-and-911-GT3-Touring-2024-992.2-update-2-1280x1280.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche Design Chronograph 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring\" width=\"1280\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Highly_Customizable_Dial_and_Movement\"><\/span>Highly Customizable Dial and Movement<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The new Porsche Design Chronograph 911 GT3 model features a new hexagonal pattern called the &#8220;GT Dial,&#8221; inspired by lightweight materials used in motorsports. This same design appears on the 911 GT3\u2019s instrument panel when the Sports Chrono GT Clock option is selected.<\/p>\n<p>The dial layout includes bold indices, a yellow ring, and black rhodium-plated hour and minute hands coated with Super-LumiNova. Chronograph hands can be chosen in white (Performance), black (Essence), or yellow (GT). The seconds disc at 9 o\u2019clock is engraved with &#8220;911 GT3&#8221; and a checkered flag motif.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the watch houses the COSC-certified Porsche Design WERK 01.200 movement. Prices begin at \u20ac10,250 (approximately 1.6 million yen). These watches will be sold worldwide through Porsche Centers and Porsche Design Stores, but only to customers who purchase the new Porsche 911 GT3 or 911 GT3 Touring Package.
