<\/p>\nIt\u2019s been a little over a month since my Panamera Turbo was delivered. I sometimes use the touchscreen when heading out on longer drives, so I feel like I\u2019m finally getting a little more comfortable with it.<\/p>\n

That said, there are still plenty of features I haven\u2019t discovered, and I think I\u2019m only using the essentials. Here\u2019s what I use:<\/p>\n
\u2460 Navigation
\nSetting a destination, checking my current location, and so on
\n\u2461 Assist
\nTurning off Lane Keep Assist, and so on
\n\u2462 Vehicle
\nTurning the spoiler (rear wing) on and off, changing the suspension settings, and so on<\/p>\n
That\u2019s about it. That said, once you save your preferred Assist and Vehicle settings to your key,<\/strong> you don\u2019t need to change them each time you drive,<\/strong> so I may end up using little more than the navigation. Apparently, there are plenty of other useful features, including app integration and hands-free calling in the car, but I haven\u2019t really used any of them yet.<\/p>\n If you listen to the radio in your car, you\u2019ll probably use the Media button a lot, too. I\u2019m usually a fan of driving in silence, though, so I don\u2019t use it. One thing I\u2019ve recently discovered is that using the buttons below the touchscreen is easier<\/strong> than tapping directly on the screen.<\/strong><\/p>\n When you\u2019re driving, you might reach for something on the navigation screen and accidentally hit the wrong button because your finger moves. That doesn\u2019t happen when I use the buttons below. And there\u2019s something oddly satisfying about the little \u201cclick\u201d when you press one. I don\u2019t have much more to share about the touchscreen just yet\u2014but once I get the hang of more of its features, I hope to write about them in another post.<\/p>\n On a completely unrelated note, my husband is heading overseas on a business trip for a while starting today. And lately, I\u2019ve been walking to and from kindergarten drop-off and pick-up for exercise, so (it\u2019s a 20-minute walk each way, up and down hills)<\/span> I probably won\u2019t get to drive the Panamera Turbo much.
