The Blog Logo Problem<\/h3>\n

The other day, my husband asked, \u201cWhy is our blog logo so weird?\u201d<\/strong> Our old logo was a red-and-black steering wheel I\u2019d downloaded from a free image site. It was so blurry you could barely tell what it was supposed to be\u2014not exactly a great look.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s change it!\u201d I thought. I looked for a free Porsche logo, but while there were plenty for the 911, I couldn\u2019t find one for the Panamera. And designing one myself was out of the question. Then I wondered if I could use an app to turn a photo of our car into an illustration and make it look like a logo.<\/p>\n

I Found an App Called PhotoLab<\/h3>\n

After some searching, I came across an app called PhotoLab<\/a>. It\u2019s free to install, but the free version won\u2019t let you save your edited images. So I signed up for the three-day trial and decided to give it a go with a photo of our car. Here\u2019s the first one I tried.<\/p>\n

\"\"Oh, this looks pretty good! ( \uff9f\u2200\uff9f)\uff65\u2235. \u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

It really looks like it was drawn in colored pencil! That got me excited, so I started editing more of our Panamera photos.<\/p>\n

\nThe colors and texture are beautiful, too. They look good enough to print, frame, and hang on the wall. I got so carried away that before I knew it, I\u2019d edited about 50 photos.<\/p>\n

I Tried It on Other Photos, Too<\/h3>\n

I wanted to make the most of the trial, so I tried it on photos of our previous Panamera Edition and a few other cars, too.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"I have to admit, the Porsche logo looks pretty cool\u2014but there\u2019s no way I could use it as the blog logo.<\/p>\n

So, What Happened to the Blog Logo?<\/h3>\n

In the end, I decided to use the first edited Panamera photo as both the blog logo and the profile icon. Here it is.<\/p>\n

Hmm\u2026 sadly, I don\u2019t think you can really call that a logo. (-_-)<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I guess that\u2019s what happens when you\u2019re not a professional\u2026\u201d<\/strong> I was thinking, when my husband emailed me: \u201cHow about this?\u201d Attached was this image.<\/p>\n

Oh, that\u2019s a logo! It really looks like a logo! ( \uff9f\u2200\uff9f)\uff65\u2235. <\/span><\/p>\n

Apparently, he\u2019d made it while he was at work (I wonder if he should really be doing this on the clock, haha)<\/span>, so I promptly put it on the blog!<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s how our \u201cWelcome Home, PORSCHE\u201d blog is gradually starting to look the part.
