It was expensive, but I thought, why not?)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-32408\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/iris-2-1280x720.webp\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-32409\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/iris-3-1280x720.webp\" alt=\"Porsche Taycan\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_the_Taycan\"><\/span>Why the Taycan?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Originally, I intended to buy a Panamera hybrid model, so I asked my dealer contact, Mr. H, to help me look for one, and later visited a certified used car dealership.<\/p>\n<p>However, <strong>the moment the automatic door opened, I fell in love at first sight with the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo parked right in front of me.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Neither I nor my husband ever imagined such a turn of events.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-32416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_9992-1280x720.png\" alt=\"Taycan Cross Turismo\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-32415\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/IMG_9991-1280x720.png\" alt=\"Taycan Cross Turismo\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sometimes I get asked, &#8220;<strong>Did you buy the Taycan due to some adult circumstances?<\/strong>&#8221; but that\u2019s absolutely not the case.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Mr. H kept recommending the Panamera until the very end, even saying things like,<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Would you like to go see the Panamera again? Take another look at the interior? Since you said the Panamera was so good\u2026<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But my heart was completely captured by the Taycan, and I couldn\u2019t imagine any other option.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t think I would have been so captivated by any other Taycan model. It was this particular specification of the Taycan 4S Cross Turismo that really struck a chord with me.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Everyday_Use_of_the_Taycan\"><\/span>Everyday Use of the Taycan<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If I were to buy one myself, I never would have imagined a spec like Ice Grey Metallic with the Off-Road Package and LED Matrix Headlights (Glacier Ice Blue).<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s amazing how much the atmosphere of a car can change depending on the specs and options you choose.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve only driven about 300 km since delivery, but I want to take some longer trips and also experience how practical it is to use the car with a standard household 100V power supply (laughs).<\/p>\n<p>I plan to continue testing and writing about the Taycan\u2019s driving experience and everyday usability.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As I wrote in my recent blog post, I purchased a used Taycan 4S Cross Turismo.
