The Carrera T was delivered at the end of May 2023. Time flies\u2014it\u2019s almost been half a year already.<\/p>\n

The current mileage is 5,500 km.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s going to the supermarket, taking the kids to the dentist or dermatologist, or just driving them around\u2014I use the Carrera T for everything. Sometimes I think, “There probably aren\u2019t many people in Japan who use their Carrera T this much in daily life.”<\/strong> Every day, I\u2019m enjoying my 911 life to the fullest.<\/p>\n

Used Market Prices for the Carrera T<\/h3>\n

For a while now, it\u2019s been a hot topic on social media that \u201cthe used market prices for the Carrera T are skyrocketing.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

I hadn\u2019t paid much attention until recently, but looking again, it\u2019s true…<\/p>\n

The Carrera T I bought, including options, was almost 20 million yen, but since the production volume of the Carrera T is limited, prices seem to have risen even in just the past few months.<\/p>\n

However, I\u2019ve also heard recently that \u201cCarrera Ts are being delivered\u201d and \u201creservations for the Carrera T are being accepted,\u201d<\/strong> so prices might fluctuate again.<\/p>\n

The Driving Experience Is Outstanding\u2014Carrera T<\/h3>\n

The driving experience of the Carrera T is truly amazing and fun. It\u2019s light and glides along smoothly\u2014a car that really feels like a trusted partner.<\/p>\n

The other day, a car enthusiast customer took it for a spin and kept saying, \u201cWow! The 911 is this much fun? This is insane! So much fun! The engine revs so nicely! I want this!\u201d<\/strong> (laughs)<\/p>\n

True to the 992 generation, it\u2019s solid and feels very rigid, yet it\u2019s never heavy or cumbersome.
It\u2019s nimble, and the steering feels incredibly satisfying. (I think adding Power Steering Plus to the Carrera T would make it too light, as it\u2019s already quite light to begin with.)<\/p>\n

It\u2019s very easy to drive in slow city traffic, smooth to start off, and doesn\u2019t require much care. When driving on mountain roads like the Royu Driveway, it\u2019s fast, grips well, and handles sharply.<\/p>\n

\"Porsche<\/p>\n

Of course, if you want a smoother, more comfortable ride, the T might not be the best choice<\/strong> (since the Carrera T has a sports chassis), but for those who value \u201cdriving enjoyment\u201d and \u201cease of daily use,\u201d<\/strong> the Carrera T is perfect.<\/p>\n

If I ever buy another 911, I\u2019d want to drive a \u201cT\u201d again\u2014that\u2019s how much fun it is.<\/p>\n

In that sense, as I mentioned at the start, \u201cthe rising price of the Carrera T\u201d<\/strong> also makes me happy as an owner.<\/p>\n

But on the other hand, the mileage on Carrera Ts appearing in the used market is mostly 30 km, 50 km, or at most around 500 km…<\/p>\n

In other words, they\u2019re barely driven at all.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s possible they weren\u2019t bought solely for resale, and there may be personal reasons I don\u2019t know about. Maybe the owners had no choice but to let them go.<\/p>\n

But honestly, I think, \u201cIf you\u2019re not going to drive it, you shouldn\u2019t buy it in the first place.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The car deserves better.<\/p>\n

The Carrera T Is for Those Who Truly Cherish Their Cars<\/h3>\n

The Carrera T.<\/p>\n

Honestly, when I first got behind the wheel, I thought, \u201cAh, I might sell this soon.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t feel the lightness, the engine sound was really quiet, and the engine response was kind of sluggish\u2014I thought, \u201cThis might not be fun.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

But after starting the break-in period and driving about 300 km, the engine sound clearly changed, and the engine response improved.<\/p>\n

After surpassing 500 km, I noticed, \u201cWow, it\u2019s better again! It\u2019s better again!\u201d\u2014the driving experience kept improving day by day, and now I\u2019m excited thinking, \u201cI bet it\u2019ll feel even better and more fun after 10,000 km.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s what the Carrera T is all about\u2014enjoying the drive (not just the Carrera T, but any car). If you\u2019re not going to savor that fun and just sell it right away, then you shouldn\u2019t buy it at all. (I\u2019m getting a bit frustrated writing this, haha.)<\/p>\n

Among my circle, there are quite a few owners who have experienced the driving pleasure of the Carrera T, understood its appeal, and are now eagerly waiting in line to reserve one. The Carrera T is a car meant for those people.<\/p>\n

Especially to those eagerly longing for a Carrera T\u2014may you be lucky enough to get a production slot. And may the day come when we can share the joy of driving this Carrera T together.<\/p>\n
