The Countdown to Delivery Begins!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" class=\"ez-toc-v2_0_74 counter-hierarchy ez-toc-counter ez-toc-grey ez-toc-container-direction\">\n<div class=\"ez-toc-title-container\">\n<p class=\"ez-toc-title\" style=\"cursor:inherit\">\u30b3\u30f3\u30c6\u30f3\u30c4<\/p>\n<span class=\"ez-toc-title-toggle\"><\/span><\/div>\n<nav><ul class='ez-toc-list ez-toc-list-level-1 ' ><li class='ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-3'><a class=\"ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/en\/entry\/911_youyaku\/#Carrera_T_At_Last\" >Carrera T, At Last<\/a><\/li><li class='ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-3'><a class=\"ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/en\/entry\/911_youyaku\/#The_Carrera_T_Ive_Admired_for_Years\" >The Carrera T I\u2019ve Admired for Years<\/a><\/li><li class='ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-3'><a class=\"ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/en\/entry\/911_youyaku\/#Delivery_Date_Confirmed\" >Delivery Date Confirmed!<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Carrera_T_At_Last\"><\/span>Carrera T, At Last<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s been almost six years since I started this blog.<\/p>\n<p>Back then, I launched it with a simple wish: <strong>\u201cI hope to share the charm of our Panamera with more people.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to that, this blog has grown into Japan\u2019s most visited personal car blog.<\/p>\n<p>To all the readers and my husband, who has been running this blog alongside me, thank you so much.<\/p>\n<p>And the dream I had since then\u2014to <strong>\u201cbuy a Porsche with my own money\u201d<\/strong>\u2014after six years, is finally about to come true.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Carrera_T_Ive_Admired_for_Years\"><\/span>The Carrera T I\u2019ve Admired for Years<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Last autumn, I took the plunge and ordered the Carrera T, fully prepared for the risks.<\/p>\n<p>Actually, my fascination with the Carrera T began years ago when I saw the promotional video for the late-model 991 Carrera T (which was Racing Yellow at the time).<\/p>\n<p>I was completely captivated by its coolness and dreamed of driving this model with a manual transmission.<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">\u201cIt\u2019s so great! Although manual versions weren\u2019t available in Japan back then, <strong>maybe I could import one myself!<\/strong> Someday, I want this Carrera T!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I often told my husband this.<\/p>\n<p>But the Carrera T felt like a distant dream, so much so that I even forgot I had said I wanted one\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Who would have thought that a few years later, with the right timing, I\u2019d actually be able to buy a Carrera T?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe my subconscious has been quietly longing for the Carrera T all along, haha.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Delivery_Date_Confirmed\"><\/span>Delivery Date Confirmed!<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Carrera T finished production in mid-February.<\/p>\n<p>The production completion came sooner than expected, but the status on My Porsche didn\u2019t change at all after that\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIs it ready yet? Is it ready yet? How long will it stay at the German port?\u201d<\/strong> I anxiously checked every day, and about a month later,<\/p>\n<p>the status finally updated, and the ship set sail.<\/p>\n<p>However, the My Porsche status barely progressed, and around April 10, it was still near Yemen,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-31117\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/IMG_1611.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"749\" height=\"1109\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then, I received a message from my dealer contact, Mr. H.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>The Carrera T has smoothly reached offshore Malaysia. It\u2019s currently scheduled to arrive at the dealership around mid-May, with delivery expected by the end of May.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-31119 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/IMG_1610.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"1034\" \/> As of yesterday, it\u2019s already near Kagoshima!<\/caption>\n<p>Wow, finally! It\u2019s come this far\u2026!<\/p>\n<p>I had thought there might be delays once it reached Japan, maybe pushing delivery to summer, but now the delivery date is in sight, and the dream feels more real. (Though I still can\u2019t quite believe it\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>That said, my current car, the Swift Sport, hasn\u2019t sold yet, so I need to handle that quickly, plus gather all the necessary paperwork\u2026<\/p>\n<p>On top of that, my work schedule is packed every day, but I must prepare properly to welcome the Carrera T!<\/p>\n<p>Also, if I\u2019m lucky enough to win a spot at the Porsche Festival in June, <strong>it would be perfect for breaking in the Carrera T,<\/strong> and if any blog readers are there, I could quietly show it off, which would be wonderful.<\/p>\n<p>For now, I\u2019ll make sure nothing slips through the cracks as I prepare.
