When I ordered my first Porsche, a 911 Carrera T, at the end of last year,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">\u201cIf the loan application doesn\u2019t get approved, I\u2019ll give up. It probably won\u2019t pass\u2026 Considering my current financial situation, it\u2019s better to buy it two or three years from now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I thought that, and to be honest, I even thought, \u201c<strong>It might actually be better if the loan doesn\u2019t get approved, because if it does, that would be a big problem\u2026<\/strong>\u201d (Hey!).<\/p>\n<p>However, thankfully, the loan was approved, and suddenly buying a Porsche became a real possibility. That\u2019s when I switched into \u201c<strong>I really have to earn well!<\/strong>\u201d mode.<\/p>\n<p>With that, I started dedicating myself even more to my company\u2019s work. To get advice on growing the company, I consulted with senior business owners, and one of them gave me a shocking comment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cYour company doesn\u2019t have a service right now.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He asked me to \u201c<strong>tell me about your company\u2019s service<\/strong>,\u201d and after I explained it with passion, I honestly didn\u2019t understand what he meant when he said, \u201c<strong>Your company doesn\u2019t have a service.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clearly confused with a \u201c<strong>Huh? What do you mean?<\/strong>\u201d expression, the senior continued like this:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">Right now, your company\u2019s offerings have you personally embedded in them, don\u2019t they? And quite heavily.<br \/>Because it\u2019s so personalized, <strong>efficiency is low, scaling is difficult, and the more work you get, the more your personal burden grows<\/strong>.<br \/>A service means something that doesn\u2019t rely on the owner or specific individuals. It\u2019s a system where <strong>anyone can provide roughly equal value<\/strong>.<br \/>In other words, unfortunately, your company doesn\u2019t have a service right now.<br \/>If you want to keep things as they are, I won\u2019t say anything, but you want to <strong>grow your company and earn more, and help your team earn more too, right?<\/strong><br \/>If so, you have to build proper systems.<\/p>\n<p>That was the message.<\/p>\n<p>I see. I was a bit shocked to hear such a pointed critique about something I had been working so hard to shape through repeated thinking, action, and improvement, but looking back, it was absolutely true.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-30950\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/A8140A9E-0FCF-44FB-A810-A07D7B6CCEFD-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"GLB200d AMG Line Package Tires\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Advice_from_My_Husband\"><\/span>Advice from My Husband<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Recently, I shared this story with my husband, and he laughed and said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Yeah, that\u2019s exactly right. I think it\u2019s spot on. This is a great story\u2014you should write a blog about it.<\/p>\n<p>So that\u2019s why I\u2019m writing this blog post now, following his advice (lol).<\/p>\n<p>When my husband started his own business, he faced a similar situation. From there, he seriously thought about systematizing, and now his company runs smoothly even without him.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, he said, \u201c<strong>I was shocked that I bought my dream Porsche after all these years but had no time to drive it because of work, so I seriously thought about systematizing.<\/strong>\u201d (laughs)<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Benefits_of_Building_Systems\"><\/span>The Benefits of Building Systems<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>After receiving that shocking advice from the senior, I began focusing on creating systems within my company.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, I started visualizing project processes, creating manuals, sharing intentions and goals in meetings, trying things out, and making improvements whenever issues arose\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Turning what had been a black box into visible processes one step at a time takes a lot of time, and I still have to handle negotiations and production deadlines as before.<\/p>\n<p>With only 24 hours in a day, I\u2019m constantly thinking hard about <strong>\u201chow to proceed efficiently, maintain quality, and work sincerely and carefully\u201d<\/strong>\u2014it\u2019s truly a daily challenge while on the move.<\/p>\n<p>However, since starting to build these systems, my mindset has clearly changed. That change is a growing awareness of <strong>\u201cpaying others to take on tasks.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Until now, I was the type to just charge ahead alone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I ran my first company almost entirely by myself, and even though my husband and I run this blog together, I liked doing everything within my own reach alone, and I wasn\u2019t really good with teams.<\/p>\n<p>But to build systems in my current company, I have to delegate, and delegating means paying higher fees. <strong>When fees go up, I need to raise service prices,<\/strong> and to raise prices, improving quality is essential. For that, I realized we need to strengthen the system and training so that anyone who joins can maintain the same quality.<\/p>\n<p>While thinking about this direction, delegating work to others has allowed me to focus more on sales activities, and my workload has started to increase.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m deeply grateful to the team members who run alongside me despite my reckless, headstrong ways and frequent mistakes. I still have a long way to go, but I feel a positive cycle is gradually starting.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Becoming_a_Person_Worthy_of_a_Porsche\"><\/span>Becoming a Person Worthy of a Porsche<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>At this level, there are fewer people who will give you frank advice.<\/p>\n<p>But through the shocking advice from that senior, I was able to <strong>reaffirm the importance of systems in company services, and by working on this, I can see a path for the whole company to grow.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>From now on, as a business person, I want to constantly review my mindset and actions, keep challenging myself, and not be afraid to learn from those around me. By accepting feedback, I want to grow both myself and my company.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-30731\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/iris-1-1280x720.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche 911 Carrera T\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And with the delivery of my Carrera T approaching (I\u2019ll write more about that later), I want to become a person worthy of a Porsche\u2026 <strong>and above all, be in a position to easily afford the loan payments<\/strong> (right now it\u2019s tight, and I even jokingly say that if I can\u2019t pay the loan, I\u2019ll have to sell it!).
