What to Do with the Swift Sport?<\/h3>\n

Last year, I ordered a Porsche 911, which brought up the question: \u201cShould I keep my current beloved car, the Suzuki Swift Sport, or sell it?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Swift Sport came to our home in October two years ago. I\u2019ve been driving it almost every day and truly love it, so until the end of last year, I had planned to hold on to it for a while.<\/p>\n

Compact, nimble, fast, responsive, and with a manual transmission. It was the first new car I bought myself, and I put a lot of personal touches on it\u2014decals, two-tone paint, and more\u2014so I really wanted to keep it forever.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why,<\/p>\n

\u201cEven if I buy my dream Porsche a few years from now, I want to be able to have two cars, so I\u2019ll work hard toward that goal.\u201d<\/p>\n

But unexpectedly, the dream of owning a Porsche came much closer, and as the estimated delivery date became clearer, I faced the harsh reality that I simply didn\u2019t have enough down payment saved.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Selling the Swift Sport to Fund the 911 Down Payment<\/h3>\n

Originally, I finished paying off the Swift Sport loan last October.<\/p>\n

After that, I declared on Twitter, \u201cAlright! Time to start saving for Porsche!\u201d<\/strong> planning to save up over two to three years for the purchase and upkeep of the Porsche.<\/p>\n

In October 2022, I\u2019m happy to report that I\u2019ve fully paid off the loan on my beloved Swift Sport. From now on, I officially declare that I\u2019m taking concrete steps toward buying a Porsche 911 (whatever that means lol) pic.twitter.com\/FpI847aUFx<\/a><\/p>\n
