About the Future Direction of the Blog<\/h3>\n

Lately, I\u2019ve been thinking a lot about the direction of this \u201cWelcome Home, PORSCHE\u201d blog<\/strong>. I\u2019ve finally settled on a vision, and now I want to nurture this blog into a helpful resource for everyone considering purchasing a Porsche<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

…I might be setting my sights a bit high, but actually, the reason I started this blog was because my husband casually said, “If you love the Panamera that much, why not try blogging about it?”<\/strong> By the way, here\u2019s the very first post I wrote when I launched the blog:<\/p>\n

At first, I started on Hatena Blog and updated casually. I decided to post every day for at least two months, but honestly, I was only writing about how much I loved the Panamera from my own perspective, so looking back now, the content feels embarrassingly immature.<\/p>\n

Because of that, the blog initially got about \u201c2\u201d visits a day, maybe \u201c5\u201d on a good day (laughs), but gradually the number of readers surpassed 100, and the blog\u2019s traffic started to increase.<\/p>\n

However, once that happened, I began to think more seriously: “I can\u2019t just write casually,” “What exactly are readers looking for?” “I need to think more carefully about the content.”<\/strong> I overthought things so much that I ended up unable to write anything, and from last winter through this spring, I hardly updated the blog at all.<\/p>\n

Do What You Want to Do<\/h3>\n

Then, around this spring, with changes in my surroundings, my children, my mindset, and various other factors big and small… I realized that my current job is approaching its 10th year, so I thought it might be time to draw a line under it. For the past 10 years, I\u2019ve worked from the perspective of “my position and role first,”<\/strong> thinking about what I should do in that role and trying my best. I gained a lot from that experience.<\/p>\n

At the same time, I also learned my limits and, looking at those around me, I felt “Even with all this effort, this is the result\u2014I guess I\u2019m just not good at this field. I was completely outmatched.”<\/strong> In a way, I accepted defeat.<\/p>\n

Well, having done my best for 10 years, whenever I struggled with work, my husband always told me, “Do what you want to do. If you do what you love and get absorbed in it, the results will follow.”<\/strong> So, for the next 10 years, I decided this would be my second chapter: “Before roles and positions, I\u2019ll spend 10 years doing what I want as an individual.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

At that moment, when I thought about what I really want to do, my intuition said, \u201cThis is it!\u201d\u2014and that\u2019s this blog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Important in Running a Blog<\/h3>\n

When running a blog, I think it\u2019s very important to consider what readers want and provide useful information without being self-centered.<\/strong> If I were a celebrity who got tons of \u201clikes\u201d just by saying \u201cGood morning~!\u201d, maybe I could write whatever I felt like (laughs).<\/p>\n

But I\u2019m not famous, and this blog isn\u2019t a diary\u2014it\u2019s an information blog. That\u2019s why the perspective of \u201cproviding useful information to readers\u201d<\/strong> is even more important.<\/p>\n

At the same time, I also think it\u2019s important that I enjoy writing.<\/strong> Writing because \u201cI have to\u201d or \u201cI don\u2019t want to but people expect it\u201d won\u2019t last, and such posts won\u2019t have any soul\u2014they won\u2019t be interesting or resonate with readers.<\/p>\n

I believe that updating articles with a genuine \u201cI want to write!\u201d feeling will come through in the words and between the lines, making the blog resonate with readers.<\/p>\n

The Intent Behind the Blog\u2019s Direction<\/h3>\n

At the start, I said I want this blog to be a helpful resource for everyone considering purchasing a Porsche<\/strong>\u2014not because I can or can\u2019t do it, but simply because I honestly thought, \u201cIt would be great if such a blog existed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Right now, when I search online for Porsche-related articles, I honestly feel there\u2019s not enough information. Test drive reviews from car media, evaluations in the used car market, and information from other bloggers are all useful individually, but the total amount is small.<\/p>\n

If I were currently in the position of \u201cI want to buy a Porsche!\u201d<\/strong>, I\u2019d want more information\u2014and real, honest information. (But maybe there aren\u2019t many people who research this deeply before buying, haha.)<\/span> For example,<\/p>\n

\u201cThe catalog specs say this, but what\u2019s it really like?\u201d
\n\u201cThe test drive reviews praise it, but how does it feel after owning it for 20,000 or 30,000 kilometers?\u201d
\n\u201cHow much do maintenance and fuel costs actually run?\u201d
\n\u201cCar media only write about the good points, but are there really no cautions or downsides?\u201d<\/p>\n

I want to know these real voices. Since a Porsche is a big investment and many people want to cherish their car for a long time, I think it would be fun to share this kind of information through our daily conversations and drives, making it feel close and real.<\/p>\n

911, Cayenne, Macan, Cayman, Come On!<\/h3>\n

That said, right now at our house, we only have two Porsche models: the Panamera and the Boxster. My husband often says,<\/p>\n

\u201cWe only have info on some of the less popular Porsche models. The 911, Cayenne, and Macan are way more popular. It\u2019d be great if we could cover those more, but…\u201d<\/p>\n

That\u2019s true… but to do that, we\u2019d have to own them, right? (\uff1b\uff9f\u0414\uff9f)<\/p>\n

I wonder if someone I know would lend one… or if there\u2019s anyone who could tell me detailed info about fuel economy and ride feel… Maybe I should ask the dealer for more test drives…<\/p>\n
