Speaking of which, there was an old Ayumi Hamasaki song lyric that went \u201cEven if they say you\u2019re a \u2018nice person,\u2019 it\u2019s like being a \u2018whatever kind of person\u2019\u201d<\/strong>… (That\u2019s a bit dated, haha)<\/span> But Porsche enthusiasts aren\u2019t \u201cnice people\u201d in that trivial sense\u2014they genuinely have great personalities, warm hearts, and are truly wonderful individuals.<\/p>\n On the other hand, I wondered about the people around me who drive Ferraris or Lamborghinis… and they\u2019re also great people (laughs). Sure, their type is a bit different from Porsche lovers, and their taste in cars varies, but that\u2019s just personal preference. Fundamentally, they\u2019re also kind-hearted and full of hospitality.<\/p>\n So why do people say things like \u201cPorsche drivers are nice people\u201d<\/strong> as if implying \u201cpeople who like other brands aren\u2019t as nice, but Porsche fans are\u201d? I thought about this a bit.<\/p>\n When I think of the people who say \u201cPorsche fans are nice,\u201d they themselves are also incredibly nice people (laughs)<\/strong>. It\u2019s true what they say about \u201cbirds of a feather flock together\u201d\u2014people with good character tend to attract others with good character.<\/p>\n Conversely, those who constantly complain or have a negative outlook tend to attract similar people. So those who say \u201cPorsche drivers are nice\u201d are probably nice people themselves<\/strong>.<\/p>\n People tend to feel warmth toward those they share something in common with. For example, when adults meet someone from the same alma mater, just that fact alone can instantly bring them closer. Hanshin Tigers fans, when they meet other Hanshin fans, quickly bond with a \u201cYou\u2019re a good guy!\u201d vibe… (On the flip side, Giants fans might see them as rivals or not-so-nice people, haha)<\/span><\/p>\n So sharing the common love of Porsche can quickly close the gap between people and create a positive impression.<\/p>\n Speaking personally, there\u2019s a lady in my neighborhood who drives a Panamera GTS. We often pass each other near the local supermarket or on the street in front of our houses, but we\u2019ve never spoken or even exchanged names, nor do I know what she does for a living, yet I\u2019m absolutely convinced she\u2019s a wonderful person (laughs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Also, many Porsche fans seem to drive their cars not because they want to show off or be told \u201cWow, you have an amazing car!\u201d but because \u201cthey genuinely like it, regardless of what others think.\u201d<\/strong> I think when you share that kind of mindset, conversations flow easily and you naturally get along well. This isn\u2019t limited to Porsche owners, but being able to afford a luxury car like a Porsche usually means having a comfortable lifestyle and a calm, generous spirit<\/strong>. Whether it\u2019s that a generous heart leads to success, or success leads to a generous heart, probably both are true\u2014but I find most Porsche owners to be very easygoing.<\/p>\n Also, from what I see on Twitter, some young people save up and buy Porsches early on, but they often connect with older Porsche owners and go on tours together<\/strong>. I often see posts like \u201cI got a ride in so-and-so\u2019s car!\u201d or \u201cThey treated me to a meal!\u201d Perhaps because they interact with such people from a young age, even younger Porsche owners tend to have mature ways of thinking and seeing the world.<\/p>\n Of course, there are Porsche drivers with bad personalities or who are disliked by others, but that\u2019s true for any car brand. What really matters is \u201cliving your life honestly, sincerely, and positively.\u201d<\/strong> As long as you live that way, you\u2019ll naturally attract good Porsche drivers around you.<\/p>\n On the other hand, if you feel there are more unpleasant people around you lately, that\u2019s a sign to \u201creflect on yourself by watching others.\u201d It\u2019s time to reconsider your mindset and behavior.
