{"id":36930,"date":"2018-08-25T06:00:05","date_gmt":"2018-08-24T21:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/?p=36930"},"modified":"2019-01-22T15:36:40","modified_gmt":"2019-01-22T06:36:40","slug":"porsche-owners-file","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/en\/entry\/porsche-owners-file\/","title":{"rendered":"Launching the \u201cPorsche Owners File\u201d Project Gathering Genuine Voices"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"style3a\">About the Direction of This Blog<\/h3>\n<p>Today, I\u2019d like to continue from what I wrote earlier about \u201cthe direction of this blog.\u201d Back in July, I wrote that <strong>I want to nurture this blog into a helpful resource for everyone considering purchasing a Porsche.<\/strong> That\u2019s simply because I genuinely thought, \u201cIt would be great if such a blog existed.\u201d <span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Here\u2019s the article from that time\u2193\u2193)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/entry\/about-blog-in-the-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2192[Reference Article] Welcome Home, PORSCHE \u2013 Seriously Considering the Future Direction of This Blog<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After publishing that article, I felt like I had made a rather ambitious claim about <strong>\u201cgrowing into a blog that helps everyone considering a Porsche purchase gather information.\u201d<\/strong> Then, I received a comment from a reader that went like this:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">Exactly that. <strong>It\u2019s hard to find real information about Porsche, and I really want concrete opinions from people who have actually driven one.<\/strong> Especially with so many options, it\u2019s hard to know what\u2019s truly necessary, and <strong>the long delivery times make it tough to take the first step.<\/strong> I\u2019ve owned BMW, Audi, and Mercedes before, but Porsche feels a bit intimidating. However, the other day, <strong>I went to see the Macan but ended up test-driving the Panamera, and now I can\u2019t get it out of my head!<\/strong> Despite its size, it was easy to drive. Since I used to drive an Audi A7, the size might not be an issue. Please keep sharing more! (kuni)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Oh wow, that makes me so happy (\uff9f\u2200\uff9f)!!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">Porsche Owners File<\/h3>\n<p>Later, another reader messaged me saying <strong>\u201cAfter reading your recent article about the blog\u2019s direction, I\u2019d be happy to provide information about my own Panamera if you\u2019re interested.\u201d<\/strong> Along with that,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">I hope this blog thrives, grows its community, and that even one more person falls in love with Porsche&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Such messages&#8230; wow&#8230; I feel like I\u2019m being blessed&#8230; (T_T)<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by these messages, I started thinking once again, <strong>\u201cWouldn\u2019t it be wonderful if this blog could be created and energized together with Porsche owners all over the country?\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 yes, I\u2019m dreaming big again.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;When I told my father about this <span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(he knows I run a Porsche blog)<\/span>, he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well\">\u201cThat sounds great, but isn\u2019t that really something Porsche Japan should be doing? Why don\u2019t you just leave it to Porsche Japan? (laughs)\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;Well, he\u2019s right (-_-). It\u2019s something Porsche Japan should handle, and maybe I shouldn\u2019t be sticking my nose in.<\/p>\n<p>But I believe there are many things <strong>I can do as just a Porsche fan and car blogger.<\/strong> Since I don\u2019t have to worry about pleasing dealerships or companies, I can write my honest opinions about <strong>what I like and don\u2019t like, what\u2019s good and what\u2019s not.<\/strong> I think these genuine voices are exactly the kind of information readers want, so I hope this blog becomes a place where real voices keep gathering.<\/p>\n<p>So, soon I plan to launch a <strong>\u201cPorsche Owners File Project\u201d<\/strong> where Porsche owners can provide information that will be published on the blog. We\u2019ll collect details like why they chose their model, actual driving impressions, useful options, fuel economy, and more, then edit as needed and share it here. <span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(Right now, I\u2019m preparing the first article in collaboration with a certain owner.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>I hope to feature information not only on the Panamera but also on the 911, Boxster, Cayman, Cayenne, Macan, and all Porsche models.<\/p>\n<p>The dream keeps growing.
