To get straight to the point, it\u2019s to <strong>change your environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, I believe it means placing yourself in an environment where Porsche owners are around.<\/p>\n<p>That said, I haven\u2019t yet bought a Porsche with my own money, so I can\u2019t speak too authoritatively\u2026 (this is just my personal view). First, I\u2019d like to share why I want to buy a Porsche 911.<\/p>\n<p>I recently wrote an article titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/entry\/i_will_get_porsche\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cI\u2019ve Started Taking Concrete Steps to Buy a Porsche 911\u201d<\/a>, and someone asked me this:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>You already have several Porsches your husband bought at home, so why do you want to buy one yourself?<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a question I\u2019ve been asked a few times before, and even my husband often says,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">\u201cWhy are you so fixated on buying one yourself? And since we have Porsches at home, why don\u2019t you just drive them more often?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s a fair point.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of experiencing Porsche\u2019s performance and driving, <strong>I\u2019ve already driven various Porsches, both PDK and MT<\/strong>, so there\u2019s no real need to buy one just to feel that again.<\/p>\n<p>Also, since I watch my husband own and maintain Porsches up close, there aren\u2019t many surprises or \u201cOh, really? That\u2019s amazing!\u201d moments left for me.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, I\u2019m not the type who \u201cloves driving and always wants to go for a drive.\u201d Usually, I only drive for nearby errands like grocery shopping, taking my child to kindergarten, or occasionally for work. I rarely go on long trips.<\/p>\n<p>When asked again, \u201c<strong>Then why do you want one?<\/strong>\u201d my answer is largely \u201c<strong>I want to experience the world of owning a Porsche myself<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since I was a student, I\u2019ve never been very attached to material things. I used to save money from part-time jobs and spend it all on overseas travel, then save again and repeat. I probably started my business because, after talking with many company presidents during sales visits, my curiosity about \u201c<strong>What\u2019s it like to be a CEO? What\u2019s it like to run your own business?<\/strong>\u201d grew stronger.<\/p>\n<p>So with Porsche, too, watching people whose lives improve by owning one, I\u2019m driven by the curiosity of \u201c<strong>What kind of world would I see if I bought one myself?<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maybe if I own a Porsche myself, I\u2019ll suddenly love driving, or <strong>my passion for touring will skyrocket<\/strong>, or maybe I\u2019ll discover something else entirely\u2014but I won\u2019t know until I try.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Importance_of_Environment\"><\/span>The Importance of Environment<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If the goal is simply \u201c<strong>to experience the world that opens up by buying something that\u2019s not easily within reach<\/strong>,\u201d then watches, bags, or shoes might work just as well\u2026 but the reason it has to be a Porsche, as I mentioned at the start, is the environment.<\/p>\n<p>After starting this Porsche blog and meeting Porsche owners, being surrounded by them, the Porsche that once felt so far away gradually changed to \u201c<strong>Hey, maybe I can actually buy one myself?<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At first, of course, it felt strange. I thought, <strong>\u201cHow can everyone buy such expensive cars? They must really have money.\u201d<\/strong> But that feeling gradually faded. (It\u2019s a little scary\u2026 lol)<\/p>\n<p>So if my husband had been into watches, and had stepped into that world, I might have wanted a watch instead. If it had been shoes, then maybe shoes.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s amazing\u2014and a bit scary\u2014is that <strong>your senses can change dramatically without you even realizing it, depending on the environment you\u2019re in.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-30292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/1536CFB1-E080-4C1F-BBFF-B44833897EFC-1280x720-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche 911\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve heard that most decisions people make in a day are unconscious. Life is shaped by a continuous series of choices made without even realizing it.<\/p>\n<p>So if I had stayed in a world where \u201c<strong>Buying a Porsche is just a dream, a dream beyond dreams<\/strong>,\u201d I would never have imagined buying one, my daily decisions wouldn\u2019t have changed, and I probably wouldn\u2019t have developed the mindset to \u201c<strong>earn more<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I truly believe that changing your environment is essential for growth. At first, it feels uncomfortable, you might be pulled back to old ways of thinking, and the unfamiliar feelings can be unsettling.<\/p>\n<p>But when that feeling becomes \u201c<strong>normal<\/strong>,\u201d I think you\u2019ve taken a big step closer to achieving your goals.<\/p>\n<p>From now on, I want to be even more aware of the importance of environment, to place myself among the people in the world I want to be part of, and to think and act in ways that allow me to be recognized as a member of that world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Why I Want a Porsche Today, I want to write about what someone who has decided \u201cSomeday I want a Porsche\u201d should do first.
