Am I Overrating the Panamera?<\/h3>\n

In this blog, I have often praised the Panamera highly, but I have never driven its rival, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (I\u2019ve only ever ridden in the back seat)<\/span>, and I\u2019ve only driven a BMW 7 Series a little during a test drive.<\/p>\n

So when I evaluate the Panamera, I can only base it on how it feels when I drive it myself, which sometimes makes me wonder \u201cAm I overrating the Panamera?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also, my husband\u2019s brother once saw this blog and reportedly said, \u201cThis is just like Kazuo Shimizu, isn\u2019t it? (laughs)\u201d<\/strong> (Kazuo Shimizu, a former racer and automotive journalist, is famously a Porsche enthusiast)<\/span> w, which made me think maybe I really am a Porsche fan.<\/p>\n

A Blog About the Panamera<\/h3>\n

At that time, my husband sent me a blog post. It was from a blog he\u2019s been reading for a while on Minkara, called \u201cTraveling with Porsche… Goron Blog\u266a\u201d.<\/strong> The blog features reviews of various wonderful cars, including the Porsche models the author owns.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the author used to drive a Mercedes-Benz S-Class and has written comparison articles with Porsche, which I found very interesting.<\/p>\n

The article my husband sent me was titled \u201cThe Porsche Panamera Is the Perfect Driver\u2019s Car\u201d<\/a>.<\/strong> It covered the performance, ride comfort, fuel economy, cargo capacity, and overall evaluation of the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo owned by Goron\u266a. Everything written there made me think \u201cExactly! That\u2019s just how it is!\u201d<\/strong> and it made me really happy.<\/p>\n

Here are a few excerpts that especially resonated with me:<\/p>\n

\u30fbOutstanding safety in driving performance. With rear axle steering, the Panamera, which is over 5 meters long, transforms into a car with a turning radius comparable to a Prius.<\/p>\n

\u30fbRear steering is essential; there\u2019s no option more effective for driving and ride comfort.<\/p>\n

\u30fbThe 971 Panamera is the perfected form of a 4-door sedan (coupe, wagon) made by Porsche, a sports car manufacturer.<\/p>\n

\u30fbIt\u2019s a car that runs comfortably, sticks to the road like glue, and has a body rigidity so high it doesn\u2019t budge in any situation. As a 4-door driver\u2019s car, few cars match its level of refinement and sensual appeal.<\/p>\n

\u30fbThe Panamera is a driver\u2019s car that lets you enjoy driving comfortably. If you prioritize comfort above all else, you probably won\u2019t be fully satisfied.<\/p>\n

The Excellence of the Panamera… and Air-Cooled Porsches…<\/h3>\n

\u2026Honestly, I think that\u2019s exactly right. When I watched a program where Goro Okazaki explained the Panamera Turbo, I thought \u201cExactly!\u201d and even wrote about it on this blog:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s so encouraging to see someone express the Panamera\u2019s qualities so accurately.<\/p>\n
