Looking closely, <strong>you can see the GT3 badge on the rear grille, confirming it\u2019s a GT3.<\/strong> It doesn\u2019t shout for attention, but its understated dignity exudes power.<\/p>\n<p>I really love this <strong>\u201ca skilled hawk hides its claws\u201d kind of coolness.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The owner\u2019s taste is also amazing, having created a mature and calm GT3 vibe that\u2019s truly wonderful.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Impressions_from_Driving_the_Porsche_911_GT3\"><\/span>Impressions from Driving the Porsche 911 GT3<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>The GT3 I drove this time was the PDK version.<\/strong> We previously had a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/entry\/say-good-by-gt3-202104\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">991 late-model GT3 (manual),<\/a> and I\u2019ve also driven acquaintances\u2019 991 early and late GT3s (PDK), so I want to share some differences I noticed.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4b\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Easiest_GT3_to_Drive\"><\/span>The Easiest GT3 to Drive<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I\u2019ve only driven a few GT3s so far, so I can\u2019t generalize, but <strong>this was the easiest GT3 I\u2019ve ever driven.<\/strong> It felt effortless.<\/p>\n<p>Our previous 991 GT3 made me feel \u201cAlright, let\u2019s go!\u201d the moment I gripped the steering wheel, switching into battle mode. Especially on the Royu Driveway, it felt like the car was saying, <strong>\u201cYou can still push harder! Keep going!\u201d<\/strong> so I never felt like driving it gently.<\/p>\n<p>But this 992 GT3 was very easy to drive.<\/p>\n<p>There was no sense of speed pressure; I could drive relaxed, even humming to myself. Yet when I glanced at the meter, I was surprised, <strong>\u201cWow! I was going pretty fast!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-29105\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/20220716101259-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche 911 GT3 (992)\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The owner warned me, <strong>\u201cThere\u2019s no creep function, so it might feel tricky to drive,\u201d<\/strong> but I felt no discomfort. Just a slight press on the accelerator made the car respond exactly as I wanted, which felt great.<\/p>\n<p>I drove it just after delivery with only 100 km on the clock, and was told, <strong>\u201cThe brakes are still very stiff, so be careful.\u201d<\/strong> Indeed, sometimes when I pressed as usual, I thought, <strong>\u201cOh! I don\u2019t have enough strength yet!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I imagine this will ease up gradually as I drive more.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4b\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Amazing_Handling\"><\/span>Amazing Handling<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The GT3\u2019s handling is incredible. <strong>It turns sharply but never so much that it feels scary.<\/strong> It\u2019s just pure joy. I found myself wishing, <strong>\u201cIf only this curve would continue for another kilometer or forever, I\u2019d keep turning endlessly.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When I drove the 991 GT3, its handling was so amazing that my husband and I often said, <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s probably impossible for future models to top this.\u201d<\/strong> But this time, I realized again, <strong>\u201cThere\u2019s still a higher level\u2014Porsche is amazing.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Honestly, I felt, <strong>\u201cIs it even possible for a GT3 to outperform this one now?\u201d<\/strong> but I\u2019m sure Porsche will surpass it again\u2026 (laughs)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29104\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_7507.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche 911 GT3\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4b\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ride_Comfort_Wasnt_as_Harsh_as_Expected\"><\/span>Ride Comfort Wasn\u2019t as Harsh as Expected<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The ride wasn\u2019t as stiff as I had imagined. Having heard \u201cstiff, stiff\u201d from YouTube and other reviews, I was prepared for the worst. Also, since I drove it on the Royu Driveway, not on busy city streets with traffic and stoplights, that might have influenced my impression.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it felt much more livable than I expected.<\/p>\n<p>The owner joked, <strong>\u201cNo, no, if you think this isn\u2019t that stiff, Mina, your senses are already numb!\u201d<\/strong> (laughs)<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"style4b\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"PDK_Suits_Me_Better_Than_Manual\"><\/span>PDK Suits Me Better Than Manual<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>This is personal preference, but for someone like me who isn\u2019t super confident behind the wheel, I felt again that the GT3 is better with PDK than manual.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m comfortable driving manuals\u2014my daily car is a Swift Sport MT, and I recently drove an air-cooled Porsche 964 (MT) without trouble\u2014so I think I could handle a GT3 manual.<\/p>\n<p>However, shifting and clutching on every curve distracts from fully enjoying the amazing handling. For me, <strong>gripping the GT3 steering wheel with both hands and driving is more fun<\/strong> (and the PDK is incredibly smart).<\/p>\n<p>So if my husband ever decides to buy another GT3, I\u2019ll definitely say, \u201cI want the PDK!\u201d (laughs)<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"911_GT3_Overall_Impression\"><\/span>911 GT3 Overall Impression<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>That\u2019s a brief summary of my thoughts.<\/p>\n<p>I truly understand why so many people say, <strong>\u201cI want to own a GT3 at least once.\u201d<\/strong> Even among Porsches and 911s, the GT3 is on a different level.<\/p>\n<p>Once you experience it, you get hooked. Even though I prefer PDK, I honestly wonder, <strong>\u201cWhat\u2019s it like to drive a manual?
