Right after it started showing, my husband went to see it and said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">It was amazing! You absolutely have to see it! First, watch the original Top Gun from 36 years ago on Amazon Prime, then go to the theater!<\/p>\n<p>He said this with great excitement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-29043\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/521780E1-C3D6-45AF-99FC-A3A95CE511EA-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Top Gun\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, I honestly had no attachment to Top Gun and thought, <strong>\u201cIf I have time to go to the movies, I\u2019d rather work or get a massage to relax.\u201d<\/strong> So I had no intention of going at all\u2026<\/p>\n<p>But then my husband kept saying every day,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Have you watched the original Top Gun yet? When are you going to see the movie? Hurry up or the theatrical run will end. I\u2019ve already seen it twice, and I\u2019m going for the third time soon!<\/p>\n<p>Also, some acquaintances on Twitter were raving about Top Gun, so I finally decided, <strong>\u201cIf it\u2019s that good, maybe I should give it a try.\u201d<\/strong> I went to see it alone the other day (of course, I watched the original Top Gun on Amazon Prime before going, lol).<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Movie_Top_Gun_Is_Like_a_Dream_World\"><\/span>The Movie Top Gun Is Like a Dream World.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>I won\u2019t go into details to avoid spoilers, but <strong>in conclusion, it was the best movie I\u2019ve seen in years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I also felt I could really understand why men get so hooked on this movie.<\/p>\n<p>Maverick in the film is just as cool as he was 36 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Still single, riding his Kawasaki motorcycle, refusing to be tied down or promoted, always a lone wolf. His skills as a pilot remain top-notch, <strong>in fact, even more precise than when he was younger.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, he carries the weight of responsibility for a past accident, constantly blaming himself, yet he protects what\u2019s important to him in his own way. Thinking about his way of life made me feel a bittersweet ache in my chest.<\/p>\n<p>I found myself wondering, <strong>\u201cMaybe that\u2019s part of why Maverick is still single\u2026\u201d<\/strong> as I enjoyed the movie\u2019s world.<\/p>\n<p>While many hit movies get sequels within a few years, Top Gun took 36 years to get one. That span of time surely adds depth to this film.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the scenes featuring Porsche were breathtaking and gave me goosebumps.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_29045\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-29045\" class=\"wp-image-29045 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/29B65B24-9D75-43DB-A62F-6542D13FFEB7-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-29045\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">My husband even bought the pamphlet, lol<\/p><\/div>\n<p>When my husband came home, I said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">That was really great. It feels like a movie packed with <strong>men\u2019s dreams and romance.<\/strong> As you get older, get married, and have kids, you have more to protect and sometimes have to give up on things. But Maverick is still single, rides his Kawasaki, and sticks to his beliefs. It felt like a movie full of the kind of life that men admire but feel they can\u2019t live themselves.<\/p>\n<p>He replied, \u201c<strong>Exactly!!<\/strong>\u201d and shared this with me:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">The first time you watch it, you just enjoy the story, but the reason you want to see it two or three times is because <strong>you\u2019re experiencing a world that can\u2019t exist in real life, almost like a virtual experience.<\/strong> While watching, you feel like you\u2019re inside the Top Gun movie, living in that dream world you admire. It\u2019s like Disneyland. People go there over and over. We wonder why, but it\u2019s the same feeling. Also, watching multiple times lets you notice small details and foreshadowing, helping you understand the story better.<\/p>\n<p>I thought, wow, that\u2019s amazing\u2026 This movie must hold a special meaning for men. It was definitely a great film, but I don\u2019t think I\u2019ll go for a second viewing (lol).<\/p>\n<p>My husband also said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\"><strong>It\u2019s better to watch Top Gun alone.<\/strong> The time after the movie to soak in the atmosphere is really important. Some people say they want to watch it with their wife or girlfriend, but if they start talking about <strong>\u201cThat scene was like this, or that scene was like that\u201d<\/strong> right after the movie, it pulls you back to reality too soon, which is a shame.
