What I Gained and Learned from Running This Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I started this Porsche blog exactly five years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Back in June 2017, just a few months after my second daughter was born, I casually launched this blog. <strong>At the time, I never imagined it would grow into a blog read by so many people five years later.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So today, on this five-year milestone, I want to look back on the journey of running this blog and share what I\u2019ve gained along the way.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ez-toc-container\" class=\"ez-toc-v2_0_74 counter-hierarchy ez-toc-counter ez-toc-grey ez-toc-container-direction\">\n<div class=\"ez-toc-title-container\">\n<p class=\"ez-toc-title\" style=\"cursor:inherit\">\u30b3\u30f3\u30c6\u30f3\u30c4<\/p>\n<span class=\"ez-toc-title-toggle\"><\/span><\/div>\n<nav><ul class='ez-toc-list ez-toc-list-level-1 ' ><li class='ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-3'><a class=\"ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/en\/entry\/blog_5years\/#A_Stronger_Heart_from_Running_the_Blog\" >A Stronger Heart from Running the Blog<\/a><\/li><li class='ez-toc-page-1 ez-toc-heading-level-3'><a class=\"ez-toc-link ez-toc-heading-2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/en\/entry\/blog_5years\/#Small_Triggers_Can_Change_Your_Life\" >Small Triggers Can Change Your Life<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"A_Stronger_Heart_from_Running_the_Blog\"><\/span>A Stronger Heart from Running the Blog<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>I\u2019ve been asked several times, \u201c<strong>Mina, you already had some knowledge about cars before you started the blog, right?<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But in reality, I started this blog with <strong>almost no knowledge about Porsche or cars at all.<\/strong> Because of that, the early posts on this blog are laughably shallow (lol).<\/p>\n<p>Looking back, I wonder how I even thought I could write a Porsche blog with so little knowledge\u2026 ignorance really is scary, isn\u2019t it? lol<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28970\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/20170614095344-e1530666471245-700x480-1.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche Panamera\" width=\"700\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Since I started this blog casually, <strong>there were many times when negative comments almost broke my spirit as the blog grew.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Back then, I would get upset even over comments pointing out mechanical mistakes, and if someone criticized our lifestyle or way of thinking, I\u2019d spend the whole day worrying about it.<\/p>\n<p>Each time, my husband would say:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Behind those comments, <strong>there are a hundred times more people supporting you.<\/strong> As your blog becomes more well-known, you\u2019ll naturally get all kinds of opinions. That\u2019s not a bad thing\u2014it\u2019s proof your blog is becoming influential. Don\u2019t worry about it; just stick to your stance and write the articles you want to write.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0His advice helped me a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Now, <strong>no matter what comments come in, I don\u2019t really get bothered anymore<\/strong> (though lately, those kinds of comments have almost disappeared), and I feel my heart has grown much stronger through running this blog.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the best things that came from starting the blog.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Small_Triggers_Can_Change_Your_Life\"><\/span>Small Triggers Can Change Your Life<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Looking back now, what stands out is that \u201c<strong>small triggers can change your life dramatically<\/strong>\u201d and \u201c<strong>all experiences are connected<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Five years ago, my husband said, \u201c<strong>If you love the Panamera that much, why not write a blog about it?<\/strong>\u201d I replied, \u201c<strong>No one would read it anyway.<\/strong>\u201d But the very next day, I set up this blog on Hatena Blog.<\/p>\n<p>If I had said, \u201c<strong>No one will read it, it\u2019s too much trouble, so let\u2019s just forget it<\/strong>\u201d and ended the conversation there, I definitely wouldn\u2019t be where I am today.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, <strong>it\u2019s because we kept improving and persevering after launching the blog that we\u2019ve come this far,<\/strong> but I truly feel that whether or not you act on that first small trigger can change your life dramatically.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28972\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/IMG_8509-800x600-1.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche Boxster\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also, my experience in my 20s running a company and building an in-house media from scratch was a big help (even though that media didn\u2019t succeed in the end\u2026 lol).<\/p>\n<p>I thought, \u201c<strong>Compared to building in-house media, setting up a blog is easy,<\/strong>\u201d so I was able to move quickly.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve made countless mistakes and have many bitter memories I\u2019d rather forget, but those experiences led me to this Porsche blog.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Everything is connected. Nothing is wasted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s another lesson this blog has taught me.<\/p>\n<p>Five years since launching the blog, and the next five years ahead\u2026<\/p>\n<p>When we reach the blog\u2019s 10th anniversary, I want to be able to say, \u201c<strong>It turned out to be an even more exciting journey than I could have ever imagined back then.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From now on, I\u2019ll keep going with \u201cDon\u2019t think. Just do!\u201d (only those who get it will understand lol).<\/p>\n<p>To all the readers who have supported me, thank you so much.
