Instead, you must stand firm and say, \u201c<strong>this is our country\u2019s stance<\/strong>,\u201d with confidence.<br \/>\nClients pay us money, but in return, we provide know-how and value, contributing to their growth and development. So the relationship should be equal.<br \/>\nOf course, if we make mistakes, we must apologize and respond sincerely, but we shouldn\u2019t humble ourselves more than necessary.<br \/>\nIf that balance and relationship break down from the beginning, it becomes very difficult to repair later on.<\/p>\n<p>I thought, diplomacy between nations, huh? I had never thought of negotiations that way before. Then he continued:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">The thing is, I basically have no intention of aggressively chasing work in my negotiations, haha.<br \/>\nThere\u2019s no need to force myself to get a job, and honestly, I don\u2019t like being too busy, so I don\u2019t have the mindset of \u201cI must get this work at all costs.\u201d<br \/>\nAlso, jobs I\u2019ve forced myself to take often don\u2019t go well later.<br \/>\nSo, during the initial negotiation, unless asked, I don\u2019t explain our services, and sometimes I honestly tell them, \u201c<strong>Your company might actually be better suited to another company\u2019s services<\/strong>.\u201d<br \/>\nI also don\u2019t follow up with \u201c<strong>Have you considered it? When can I expect your answer?<\/strong>\u201d<br \/>\nThey might think I\u2019m unmotivated, but surprisingly, a few months later, they often contact me saying, \u201cWe\u2019d like to proceed with that matter.\u201d<br \/>\nAnd the jobs that start because they want them usually go smoothly afterward.<\/p>\n<p>What a lackadaisical attitude\u2026 but I really get what he\u2019s saying (laughs).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-28848\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/EA4DDFB8-6932-4A8A-A1C2-12C894CD7DAA-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Sakurajima and Porsche 911\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Become_a_troublesome_person\"><\/span>Become a troublesome person.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>While we were talking, my husband said, <strong>\u201cBy the way, there\u2019s a phrase by Takamori Saigo that I really like,\u201d<\/strong> and sent me the quote by email.<\/p>\n<p class=\"well\">\u201cPeople who want neither money, nor honor, nor life are troublesome, but without such people, great achievements in the world cannot be accomplished.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I want money, (I don\u2019t care about honor), and I want to live\u2026 haha.<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Someone who wants no money, no honor, and no life is basically \u201c<strong>invincible<\/strong>.\u201d They have nothing to fear.<br \/>\nSuch people don\u2019t listen to others and often act wildly, but indeed, without people like that, great achievements can\u2019t be made.<br \/>\nAnd for you, Mina, ultimately, it\u2019s okay if the company\u2019s sales don\u2019t increase.<br \/>\nSince I\u2019m the breadwinner of our household now, it\u2019s not like \u201c<strong>we can\u2019t live unless the company\u2019s sales go up<\/strong>.\u201d Even if sales don\u2019t rise, we\u2019ll manage and won\u2019t die. So there\u2019s no need to panic.<br \/>\n<strong>You don\u2019t have to be a well-behaved person; in fact, it\u2019s better to be a troublesome one.<\/strong><br \/>\nThere\u2019s no need to force yourself to get work by compromising your stance. You can be confident with the attitude of \u201c<strong>It\u2019s perfectly fine if you decline us.<\/strong>\u201d<br \/>\nThat kind of attitude and spirit become an aura and a presence that makes the other side think, \u201c<strong>This person is a little unusual.<\/strong>\u201d and then sales will follow naturally.<br \/>\nSo don\u2019t rush.<\/p>\n<p>This whole conversation with my husband completely solidified my mindset, and I was able to take immediate action.<\/p>\n<p>My thinking tends to be masculine\u2026 When I consult my husband, it\u2019s usually in a situation like, <strong>\u201cI\u2019ve thought it through and decided, but what do you think?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since I\u2019ve already made up my mind, I just want a final push.
