Besides the absence of the wing, notable distinctions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No \u2018GT3\u2019 rear emblem; instead, there\u2019s a \u2018GT3 Touring\u2019 badge on the grille.<\/li>\n<li>No \u2018GT3\u2019 embroidery on the rear seat carpet.<\/li>\n<li>The standard seats use some fabric instead of all leather or Race-Tex.<\/li>\n<li>The Leather Package features embossed leather on the dashboard\u2019s front section and upper door panels.<\/li>\n<li>The inside of the front spoiler is painted body color.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_28930\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28930\" class=\"wp-image-28930 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/AE8AEB4B-A93E-4587-96A5-CA8DC60EE87A-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Embossed leather on Porsche 911 GT3 Touring\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-28930\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Embossed leather from the Leather Package on the GT3 Touring. The concept is to have a <strong>\u2018GT3\u2019 that doesn\u2019t flaunt being a \u2018GT3\u2019<\/strong>, and this \u2018aesthetic\u2019 and \u2018refinement\u2019 is meant for those who truly appreciate it.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Suspension_is_exactly_the_same_as_the_winged_GT3\"><\/span>Suspension is exactly the same as the winged GT3<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Since it\u2019s a GT3 Touring, some people mistakenly think that <strong>the suspension is softer than the regular GT3<\/strong>, or that <strong>the PDK has creep<\/strong>, or that <strong>the ride height is slightly higher<\/strong>, but none of that is true. Reviews of the GT3\u2019s ride quality vary, but that largely depends on the road surface.<\/p>\n<p>For example, <strong>if you focus on highway driving, it feels great, but on rough, low-speed roads, it can feel harsh.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28925\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28925\" class=\"wp-image-28925 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/63F572D9-8DE6-4D94-AE39-5B028C5B6DF4-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992) tires\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-28925\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brake calipers painted black\u2014a choice for advanced enthusiasts.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The GT3 suspension moves very freely up and down. This was true for the previous generation as well. Although it\u2019s a firm setup, the dampers work with very little friction and respond precisely to fine inputs. <strong>Compared to the suspension on a regular Carrera, this difference is immediately obvious<\/strong>, showing the superior quality of the dampers.<\/p>\n<p>On flat surfaces, even the rough texture of asphalt is absorbed well, and the smoother the road, the more refined the ride becomes. On such roads, everyone would praise the ride comfort.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-28917\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/4E999FCE-031F-4005-9427-547055ED3996-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992)\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the GT3 struggles with larger bumps and undulations. Although the dampers move well, the suspension stroke is short and the stabilizers are stiff. So, beyond a certain input level, the shocks exceed the absorption range, causing the body to sway significantly side to side.<\/p>\n<p>This causes the occupants\u2019 heads to move, and the body unconsciously tenses the neck and shoulders to keep the head stable, which over time leads to fatigue in those areas. This is the mechanism behind why <strong>the GT3 can feel \u2018tiring\u2019.<\/strong> However, unlike old-school stiff sports cars, it doesn\u2019t deliver harsh jolts that cause discomfort.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The fatigue comes more from \u2018swaying\u2019 than from \u2018impact\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>To elaborate on this \u2018swaying\u2019: for example, SUVs like the Cayenne also sway on rough low-speed roads, but the nature of that sway is very different. <strong>SUV sway lasts longer and feels like a gentle rocking motion<\/strong>, allowing the body to consciously adjust and maintain posture, so it\u2019s less tiring.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, the GT3\u2019s sway is instantaneous. <strong>It\u2019s a quick, sharp side-to-side jolt<\/strong> that lasts very briefly, causing the body to tense unconsciously.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-28926\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/C5F0BC92-19BA-4857-9792-E3B5A9CD1039-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992)\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The owner also has a 992 GTS Targa and when asked about ride comfort, he said, <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s completely different from the 992 GTS. It\u2019s almost a different car.\u201d<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s cool, but tiring (laughs).\u201d<\/strong> He also said, <strong>\u201cThis isn\u2019t a Touring Package, it\u2019s a Racing Package.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"It_turns_as_if_you_will_it\"><\/span>It turns as if you will it<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>That said, the GT3\u2019s driving performance and emotional appeal more than make up for these downsides.<\/p>\n<p>I want to say it\u2019s like <strong>\u201cit turns as if you will it.\u201d<\/strong> Of course, it turns when you steer, but the naturalness of the response is incredible. It\u2019s not exaggerated but perfectly linear.<\/p>\n<p>The moment you look ahead to the curve and decide to go there, the GT3 is already changing direction. Of course, other Porsches like the Carrera also respond well, but the GT3\u2019s reaction is unbelievably fast.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-28920\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/8EF6FED2-3ECE-4118-95EC-AD0535866367-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992) interior\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Relax and simply direct your gaze toward the corner. That\u2019s all it takes for the GT3 to flow through each turn like a fish in water. However, this peaceful feeling is only for the driver; the passenger will be subjected to intense lateral G-forces, so be warned.<\/p>\n<p>It turns so precisely that the owner said, <strong>\u201cYou can\u2019t afford to look away in this GT3.\u201d<\/strong> Indeed, if you get distracted by the scenery or other cars, the GT3 will try to go that way, so you need to keep a firm grip on the reins when driving.<\/p>\n<p>This car is the kind that, given the slightest chance, will start behaving like it\u2019s on the N\u00fcrburgring.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Checking_the_Touring_Packages_interior_and_exterior\"><\/span>Checking the Touring Package\u2019s interior and exterior<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Putting driving aside, looking at the interior and exterior, <strong>this particular car is a very mature GT3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Agate Grey paint, clear taillights, satin neodymium wheels, and even the option to paint the standard brake calipers high-gloss black. The whole car is styled in a monochrome palette with minimal colors inside and out, creating a chic, unified look.<\/p>\n<p>This is the perfect example of an adult\u2019s \u2018Touring Package.\u2019<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28921\" style=\"width: 1290px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28921\" class=\"size-large wp-image-28921\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/897D0617-0CEA-4640-BAEB-F2346627D9B7-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992)\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-28921\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The beautiful Agate Grey<\/p><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-28931\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/1903BAD7-D7B7-478D-82B9-21BBAEDD9795-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992)\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-28913\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/A205C309-4944-464D-8FBC-04FA8CBFCA5F-853x1280.jpeg\" alt=\"911 GT3 Touring package (992)\" width=\"853\" height=\"1280\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The interior\u2019s extensive use of black leather items is wonderful. This embossed leather looks almost like carbon fiber, giving a sporty yet refined impression.
