He was surprised by how many likes that casual tweet got.<\/p>\n<p>And he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Of course, being mindful about not wasting money and saving is important. But if that\u2019s all you do, there\u2019s a limit. Instead of putting all your effort into just saving, I think it\u2019s also crucial to think about and act on <strong>how to increase your own earnings<\/strong>. In reality, more people tend to focus on saving rather than earning more.<\/p>\n<p>From watching actual Porsche owners up close, I feel that <strong>while working hard to save might get you a Porsche, maintaining it requires a mindset of increasing your income as well<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When you buy a car, besides loan payments, you have to pay automobile tax, insurance (which I hear is expensive for Porsches), gas, and tolls.<\/p>\n<p>Even if you buy used, maintenance due to wear and tear on parts is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Cars really do cost a lot even after purchase.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-27076\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/E0CFA514-939D-4AAE-9D91-B0273F2144A5-1280x853.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche 981 Boxster GTS\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That said, just saying <strong>\u201cincrease your earnings\u201d<\/strong> is easier said than done, since earnings don\u2019t suddenly jump just by trying harder.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you start a side job, change careers, or start a business&#8230; well, people with a knack for business might earn quickly, but usually it takes time to actually increase your income.<\/p>\n<p>Lately, I\u2019ve come to think that <strong>there\u2019s a certain plateau period where your earnings don\u2019t increase even as you work hard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>You improve your skills and gain experience, but your income stays flat. That frustrating period seems real.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not earning that much yet, but for the past few years, I\u2019ve been stuck with no increase in income and feeling restless.<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">Maybe I just don\u2019t have enough drive to earn. With small kids, it\u2019s hard to work full throttle. But still, there are people in the same situation who are earning well.<br \/>\nI\u2019ve heard the phrase \u201cincome amount = level of influence,\u201d and maybe I just don\u2019t have enough influence yet&#8230; Though my blog does have some influence, that\u2019s more thanks to my husband than me.<br \/>\nWhen I think about it, maybe I\u2019m just too soft. My drive to earn is weak.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve gone around in circles thinking like this.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at people around me who do earn well,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">Why do they earn so easily? What\u2019s different? Maybe they\u2019re good at building systems.<br \/>\nMaybe I try to do everything myself, and that\u2019s the problem. Should I get others to work for me, or make money work for me?<br \/>\nBut then again, maybe I\u2019m not ready for that yet&#8230; Am I just making excuses? Is that why my earnings don\u2019t increase?<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve spent a lot of time thinking about things I can\u2019t really change.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">Don\u2019t Rush, Don\u2019t Lose Heart<\/h3>\n<p>But since around this summer, the tide has slowly started to turn.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow, <strong>ordering my Swift Sport myself in April seems to have changed the wind&#8230; (maybe just coincidence lol)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-27195\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/71D2E745-5B99-4F15-B724-A4EF3BEB6699-1280x960.jpeg\" alt=\"Suzuki Swift Sport\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As I mentioned before, a new project started around summer, and what I\u2019ve been doing is finally starting to bear fruit. People who never paid before are now willing to pay, and what I did without much thought is now being valued highly.<\/p>\n<p>Since this fall, my income has actually increased. (Though still not enough&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Looking back over the past few years, I realize what I wrote earlier is true: <strong>there\u2019s a time lag between your skills and experience and when that reflects in your income<\/strong>. (Though sometimes it might increase gradually.)<\/p>\n<p>For a while, nothing changes much\u2014you keep pouring water into your cup, and when it finally overflows, your stage rises and your income jumps.<\/p>\n<p>If your income grows steadily with your effort and skill improvement, you can be confident that <strong>you\u2019re on the right path<\/strong>. But when nothing changes despite your efforts, anxiety grows.<\/p>\n<p>You might wonder, <strong>\u201cI\u2019ve done so much and should be doing well, but no results. Should I quit? Should I take a different path?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But don\u2019t rush. Learn from seniors and those around you, reflect on what you learn in your actions, make small adjustments, and grow day by day. Eventually, your cup will overflow.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s how it seems to work.<\/p>\n<p>Lately, I\u2019ve come to deeply appreciate the importance of <strong>trusting yourself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Not blindly thinking \u201cI can do anything!\u201d but accepting any situation with the mindset, <strong>\u201cIt\u2019s okay, I will be okay. I chose this carefully and with all my heart, so it will be fine\u201d<\/strong>\u2014that absolute trust in yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes you might run away, but with that trust, you can get back up and keep walking.<\/p>\n<p>I still have many walls to overcome before I can buy a Porsche with my own money, but I want to trust myself and take it one step at a time without rushing.
