It seems the Swift Sport doesn\u2019t require a break-in period, but I think it\u2019s better to treat the first month as a break-in. Try to drive around 1,000 km before the one-month inspection.<\/strong> It would be good to have the engine oil changed at that time, don\u2019t you think?<\/p>\n So, I made sure to drive every day, sometimes heading to Osaka or taking the highway, and managed to bring it in with about 1,050 km on the odometer.<\/p>\n During the one-month inspection,<\/p>\n 1) Interior Inspection<\/strong> These checks took about 30 minutes, and they also changed the oil. They reported no issues or defects.<\/p>\n Actually, before the inspection, I had driven on the highway at night, and the front of the car was covered with bugs and grime, so I had a faint hope of “getting a car wash would be nice<\/strong>,” but unfortunately, there was no car wash service.<\/p>\n Well, that makes sense. I\u2019ll just have to wash it myself properly.<\/p>\n The Swift Sport is a fantastic car\u2014easy to drive, light, fast, and fun. The manual transmission\u2019s shift lever feels great to operate, with such a perfect fit that I want to keep my left hand on it all the time.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve been driving the Swift Sport almost every day for the past month, and I even told my husband,<\/p>\n Maybe I don\u2019t need a Porsche anymore. The Swift Sport is just too good. I want to keep driving it forever.<\/p>\n But recently, after a while, I drove the Boxster GTS and the Cayenne again and realized:<\/p>\n “Porsche really is amazing.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n (Of course)<\/span><\/p>\n When driving the Boxster, I felt the solid build, the rigidity, the well-crafted suspension, the connection to the road, the steering weight, and the smooth, satisfying operation of the shift lever\u2026<\/p>\n “Wow, Porsche really is incredible. No wonder it\u2019s expensive. You can feel the quality and craftsmanship everywhere.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n I felt that deeply.<\/p>\n Then, driving the Cayenne, I was reminded of its luxurious, smooth ride as if gliding on a carpet, its quietness, and how it accelerates firmly and quickly when you push the pedal. It\u2019s truly a well-made, stress-free car.<\/p>\n The background is a Kansai Supermarket\u2026<\/p><\/div>\n Before the Swift Sport arrived at our home, I was driving Porsches daily and had honestly gotten used to their performance and comfort.<\/p>\n Also, after driving the very rigid 911 (992 model), when I switched to the 981 Boxster, I thought,<\/p>\n “The suspension feels quite soft\u2014kind of floaty.<\/strong>”<\/p>\n However, now that I usually drive the Swift Sport, whenever I get behind the wheel of a Porsche, I appreciate its excellence even more.<\/p>\n On the other hand, I also clearly understand that the Swift Sport is a great car with a completely different appeal from Porsche.<\/strong> It runs lightly and nimbly, is fun even at low speeds, and feels like a true partner.<\/p>\n It\u2019s easy to maneuver, can go anywhere, and park anywhere.<\/p>\n It\u2019s fun and carefree to drive, so I want to drive it every day.<\/p>\n Lately, I\u2019ve also been practicing rev-matching with the Swift Sport, and as I gradually get better, I find myself grinning while driving from sheer joy (laughs).<\/p>\n On social media, I often see posts where people try to one-up each other with their cars, but I don\u2019t think there\u2019s any \u201cbetter\u201d or \u201cworse.\u201d<\/p>\n They just have different charms<\/strong>, and as long as you enjoy driving and feel fulfilled, that\u2019s what matters.
