Thoughts on Porsche<\/h3>\n

The other day, I casually tweeted, “Porsche is amazing. It instantly connects you with people you\u2019d never normally meet. Somehow, Porsche feels like a passport to a whole new world.<\/strong>” To my surprise, it got quite a few retweets and likes.<\/p>\n

It seems many Porsche owners feel the same way:<\/p>\n

I really love how it doesn\u2019t matter much about age or status \u2014 just being a “Porsche lover” or “Porsche driver” creates this amazing sense of camaraderie.Kei ichi\uff08@Keiloves911<\/a>\uff09<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Porsche as a Passport<\/h3>\n

Since Porsche came into our home, my husband often says that it has “opened up opportunities to meet people from new worlds<\/strong>.” He openly admits, “I\u2019m not very social<\/strong>” (he\u2019s not fond of dinners or networking and usually heads straight home for dinner)<\/span>, yet he actively shows up at events like the Royu Driveway and open car meetups, often coming home excited saying, “Today was full of incredible encounters!<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

As for me, I\u2019ve never attended Porsche owner gatherings, so my encounters come less from “driving a Porsche<\/strong>” and more from<\/p>\n

starting this “Porsche blog.”<\/p>\n

For example, I\u2019ve had the chance to visit Porsche Japan headquarters<\/a>, interview drivers competing in the PCCJ (Porsche Carrera Cup Japan)<\/span> such as T.T<\/a> and TAD JUNJUN<\/a>, and even receive applications for the Porsche Owners File<\/a> from some truly impressive people. Through the blog, I\u2019ve connected with Porsche owners all across Japan, from Kyushu to Hokkaido.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, these relationships aren\u2019t formal “business” or hierarchical connections, but rather “a warm, flat community of people who genuinely love Porsche<\/strong>.” This is something you rarely experience in a work environment.<\/p>\n

Of course, I\u2019ve had many meaningful encounters through work\u2014some life-changing, some with mentors I deeply respect. <\/p>\n

But the “connections made through Porsche<\/strong>” feel like a warp that easily jumps beyond my usual community\u2026 Porsche really feels like a “passport to a new world<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n

You can easily connect with people you\u2019d never normally meet, and these encounters lift you up and make life more exciting and expansive.<\/p>\n

In yesterday\u2019s “Porsche Owners File” article, a 911 owner wrote that “Porsche isn\u2019t just a lucky charm, it\u2019s a lucky car<\/strong>,” and I truly believe Porsche is a car that gives back.<\/p>\n

Debut on the Royu Driveway<\/h3>\n

When I shared these thoughts with my husband, he said:<\/p>\n

There\u2019s definitely a lot of encounters when you drive a Porsche. Beyond tours and meetups, sometimes other Porsche owners strike up conversations at gas stations. And truly, most of them are wonderful gentlemen\u2014business owners, doctors, professionals from various fields.
\nSome of these connections have even led to business opportunities, and seeing them motivates me to work harder and grow.
\n(It\u2019s like a real-life version of \u2018The Professionals\u2019 or \u2018Passion Continent\u2019 TV shows.)<\/span>
\nThese are truly precious encounters.
\nPorsche is an incredibly expensive purchase, but the connections and networks you gain from it can\u2019t be bought with money. In that sense, Porsche\u2019s value is truly priceless.<\/p>\n

I see. So, as I mentioned briefly in a recent article<\/a>, I\u2019m thinking of going solo to the Royu Driveway this year.<\/p>\n

Also, my husband will be participating in a Porsche driving event at Fuji Speedway soon, so I plan to take our two daughters to watch.
