A Porsche Owner\u2019s Meticulously Crafted Garage<\/h3>\n

The other day, I had the pleasure of visiting the garage of a Porsche owner who I often interact with. I had visited once before<\/a>, but this time my husband had to drop off some car parts, so he kindly asked, \u201cSince we\u2019re going anyway, want to come along?<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

This owner\u2019s garage is incredibly refined and filled with thoughtful details\u2014a truly wonderful space.<\/p>\n

In the past, when I thought of a garage, I imagined a \u201csterile space with stacked tires and a bit dark…<\/strong>\u201d While I do like that kind of atmosphere, this garage is bright and airy with large windows and a white color scheme, almost like an imported car showroom.<\/p>\n

Upstairs in the garage, there\u2019s a bedroom and shower room, and the owner often stays there. Besides cars, there are darts, putting golf, and a space for car friends to hang out and chat.<\/p>\n

After showering, before going to bed, or when waking up\u2026 you can always glance over and see your sparkling beloved cars lined up. To be able to slowly admire your cars while sipping coffee or enjoying a drink<\/strong>\u2014what a truly luxurious, rich, and happy moment that must be.<\/p>\n

This garage house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, surrounded by trees, making you almost feel like you\u2019re at a villa somewhere like Karuizawa.<\/p>\n

The owner often drives this Prius for nearby trips.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Despite it being the rainy season, the interior was fresh and very comfortable. When I asked about it, I learned that in addition to air conditioning, several dehumidifiers were installed.<\/strong> Beneath the dehumidifiers, there are drains so the collected water automatically drains away without needing to be emptied manually. Also, a Roomba takes care of cleaning inside the garage.<\/p>\n

Everywhere you look, there are thoughtful touches and practical design elements\u2014it was very educational. My husband said, \u201cSomeday I want to build my own garage<\/strong>,\u201d so I hope when that day comes, we can consult this owner for advice.<\/p>\n

A Collection of Porsches and Legendary Cars<\/h3>\n

When I visited before, the lineup included a GT2RS (991), 911 Speedster (991), 911 Turbo S (992), and even a Rolls-Royce Dawn. This time, the collection was different but equally impressive.<\/p>\n

Starting with a recently delivered Ferrari F8 Tributo, there was a Lamborghini Aventador SV, Porsche 911 Speedster (930), Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (993 with Turbo S body), Porsche 911 Turbo (930 Factory S), Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (996), and a RUF CTR Yellowbird\u2014like a Porsche museum in one garage (laughs).<\/p>\n

The RUF CTR Yellowbird is especially rare, with only 30 units worldwide.<\/p>\n

When I asked how the owner managed to acquire such rare and legendary cars, he said many were passed on from car-loving friends<\/strong>. It\u2019s no wonder these rare gems rarely show up on used car sites\u2026<\/p>\n

Listening to his stories, it felt like \u201cthe cars came to this owner as if destined to be here<\/strong>.\u201d It really made me realize that buying cars is all about fate and connection.<\/p>\n

Regarding these prized cars, the owner wishes he could drive them more, but since \u201cmost have only around 30,000 kilometers on the clock<\/strong>,\u201d he finds it hard to take them out often. Indeed, if a car had over 100,000 kilometers, you might think, \u201cLet\u2019s just drive it without worrying about mileage<\/strong>,\u201d but when they\u2019re in such great condition with low mileage, it\u2019s tough to drive casually.<\/p>\n

Finally, the owner said,<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to love driving a lot, but recently I\u2019ve come to enjoy owning the cars I want and keeping them close. So Hiro, maybe in a few years you\u2019ll feel the same way, haha.\u201d<\/p>\n

I wonder how that will turn out (laughs). Maybe it starts with building a garage house?<\/p>\n
