New Cayenne Coup\u00e9<\/h3>\n

Porsche officially announced the launch of the Cayenne Coup\u00e9<\/strong> at the world premiere held in Stuttgart on March 21<\/strong>. This marks the addition of a coup\u00e9 model to the third generation of the Cayenne.<\/p>\n

The Cayenne Coup\u00e9 incorporates all the technological highlights of the new Cayenne released last year, with further advancements and a more dynamic design<\/strong> as its key features.<\/p>\n

A Sportier Design<\/h3>\n

The Cayenne Coup\u00e9 features a smoother roofline flowing towards the rear<\/strong>, positioning it as a more dynamic and sporty model compared to the standard Cayenne.<\/p>\n

The distinctive coup\u00e9 silhouette is emphasized by the roof spoiler, while the front windshield and A-pillars are designed to be shallower than those of the Cayenne. The roof edge is about 20mm lower<\/strong>, and redesigned rear doors and fenders widen the shoulder line by 18mm, giving the vehicle a more muscular appearance overall.<\/p>\n

The rear license plate is integrated into the bumper, making the vehicle\u2019s center of gravity appear lower.<\/p>\n

The current Cayenne Turbo features an electrically adjustable active spoiler<\/strong> under the rear window that operates based on speed, and the same system is applied to the roof spoiler on all Cayenne Coup\u00e9 models.<\/p>\n

The new adaptive rear spoiler is equipped with the Porsche Active Aerodynamics system (PAA)<\/strong>. The spoiler extends by 135mm at speeds above 90 km\/h<\/strong> to increase downforce on the rear axle, while the PAA system simultaneously enhances downforce efficiency.<\/p>\n

The new Cayenne Coup\u00e9 comes standard with a 2.16\u33a1 panoramic fixed glass roof<\/strong>, which can be covered with a roller blind to block sunlight and cold. The roof\u2019s center seam, similar to that on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, gives it a distinctive look.<\/p>\n

The lightweight sports package includes a carbon roof, Sport Design features, new lightweight 22-inch GT-design wheels,<\/strong> classic check fabric seat centers, carbon and Alcantara interior accents, and a sports exhaust system.<\/p>\n

The Cayenne Coup\u00e9 looks really cool! Honestly, just looking at the rear taillight area, it starts to remind me of the Panamera, haha.<\/p>\n

Is the Cayenne Coup\u00e9 a 4-Seater?<\/h3>\n

The article mentions that the Cayenne Coup\u00e9 comfortably seats four, with two individual rear seats<\/strong>, so it appears to be a standard 4-seater. Despite being 30mm lower and having a sportier, lower silhouette than the Cayenne, there is still ample space in the rear seats.<\/p>\n

However, since it says “as standard,” it seems that a 4+1 seating option might be available. My husband checked the German Porsche configurator and found that the 4+1 seating option can be selected (possibly free of charge?)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Honestly, we won\u2019t know for sure until it arrives in Japan.<\/p>\n

The trunk capacity is 625 liters, which is ample for everyday use. Folding down the rear seats increases the capacity to 1,540 liters. (The Cayenne Turbo Coup\u00e9 ranges from 600L to 1,510L).<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the Cayenne Coup\u00e9\u2019s engine lineup, two models are confirmed for the market. First, the standard model with a 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo engine<\/strong> producing 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque (?)<\/span>, and the Cayenne Turbo Coup\u00e9 model with a 4.0L V8 twin-turbo engine<\/strong> delivering 550 PS and 770 Nm of torque.<\/p>\n

The Cayenne Turbo Coup\u00e9 apparently shares the same powertrain as the Panamera Turbo.<\/p>\n

Standard equipment includes power steering plus, 20-inch alloy wheels, front and rear park assist with rearview camera, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and the Sport Chrono package.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Cayenne Coup\u00e9 is available for order immediately in its home market, with sales starting at the end of May. I wonder when test drives and reservations will be possible in Japan.<\/p>\n

By the way, my husband is quite interested in this Cayenne Coup\u00e9 (since he really liked the new Cayenne he test drove last year<\/a>)<\/span>, and keeps muttering:<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the Cayenne Coup\u00e9 comes out, I want one\u2026 maybe swap it with the Panamera\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
