They asked for a handshake and photos, and when he got home, he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">I just went along with it and shook hands and took photos, but I\u2019m not a celebrity or anything\u2026 lol. I wonder if that was okay\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5594 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_8364-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"Royu Driveway\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That said, since he owns several Porsches and knows a lot about cars, some of you might be wondering, <strong>&#8220;Who exactly is this husband behind the blog\u2026?&#8221;<\/strong> So this time, I\u2019d like to introduce him a little from my perspective as his wife.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Describing_My_Husband_in_One_Word%E2%80%A6\"><\/span>Describing My Husband in One Word\u2026<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>My husband started an IT company about 15 years ago and still runs it today.<\/p>\n<p>He never had a specific age goal for starting a business, but since his family has been in business for generations, he always felt uncomfortable with the \u201csalaryman life\u201d of going to work and coming home at the same time every day. He vaguely thought, <strong>&#8220;I probably won\u2019t be a salaryman forever\u2026&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If I had to describe him in one phrase, it would be:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>A person who relentlessly pursues a state of personal comfort<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5592 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_8356-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"981 Boxster GTS MT\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He is someone who thoroughly follows the principle of &#8220;<strong>not doing what he doesn\u2019t want to do, or changing it so he wants to do it<\/strong>.&#8221; This trait goes back to his childhood, when he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">When I was a kid, my parents kept telling me to <strong>study<\/strong>, so I rebelled and hardly studied at all. I even started the second semester without doing any summer homework. I was forced to join club activities I didn\u2019t want to, so I often ran away during running practice and went home (laughs). On the other hand, I loved insects, fish, and programming on the computer, so I was totally absorbed in those things I liked.<\/p>\n<p>Because of this way of living, he had no intention of getting married at all\u2026 Apparently,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">When I reached the typical marriage age, everyone around me was getting married one after another, but I saw many people losing their freedom, going on allowance systems, and having to hold back for their wives. I thought, &#8220;What\u2019s fun about living such a restricted life? I can\u2019t do that.&#8221; So I told my family and friends, &#8220;<strong>I\u2019m not getting married. If I ever do, I\u2019ll be the last among my siblings and cousins.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s how it was.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_Slightly_Unusual_Married_Life\"><\/span>Our Slightly Unusual Married Life<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>That husband of mine, thankfully, decided to marry me (laughs). When I asked him why a long time ago, he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Well, you\u2019re unusual and not an ordinary woman, lol. Also, after marriage, you\u2019ve accepted me doing my own thing freely with a &#8220;<strong>That\u2019s fine, isn\u2019t it?<\/strong>&#8221; attitude.<\/p>\n<p>I see\u2026<\/p>\n<p>When our married life began, the first thing he told me was quite shocking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">I don\u2019t like doing housework, and I don\u2019t want to be assigned specific chores like &#8220;you do this.&#8221; So, <strong>I won\u2019t do housework.<\/strong> But instead, I\u2019ll spend money on robot appliances and housework services to make your chores as easy as possible, and I\u2019ll work hard to earn for that.<\/p>\n<p>While the world talks about \u201chands-on dads\u201d and \u201cmen who help with housework,\u201d he declared from the start that he wouldn\u2019t do housework, which felt completely against the times\u2026 I was surprised at first, but true to his word, he\u2019s introduced various things over the years to make housework easier. I\u2019m more comfortable with this arrangement than forcing him to help, so I\u2019m grateful.<\/p>\n<p>His consistent stance is to &#8220;<strong>relentlessly pursue a state of personal comfort<\/strong>&#8221; in everything from housework to all aspects of life, and that hasn\u2019t changed since we got married.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-23821\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/IMG_0005.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"667\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Characteristics_of_My_Porsche-Driving_Husband\"><\/span>Characteristics of My Porsche-Driving Husband<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>So, regarding his relentless pursuit of personal comfort, I think his mindset and actions can be summed up as <strong>&#8220;ultra-rationalism,&#8221; &#8220;self-based evaluation criteria,&#8221; and &#8220;competing where the odds of winning are high.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My ultra-rational husband hates waste and often thinks about how to get the maximum results with minimal effort. His judgment standard is not &#8220;common sense&#8221; but &#8220;rationality,&#8221; so in conversations, he often says things like,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">&#8220;Does that even make sense to do?&#8221; &#8220;Isn\u2019t that way super inefficient?&#8221; &#8220;Have you thought from scratch whether that\u2019s actually correct?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As a result, he often chooses methods that most people don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Next, about &#8220;<strong>self-based evaluation criteria<\/strong>,&#8221; he doesn\u2019t place much importance on others\u2019 opinions but rather on whether <strong>he himself is satisfied<\/strong> with something.<\/p>\n<p>When he just started his company, while other CEOs his age talked about &#8220;<strong>going public! expanding sales! hiring more employees and expanding offices!<\/strong>,&#8221; he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">I\u2019m not interested in any of that. I don\u2019t care. I want to build a company with a very high profit margin and productivity per person, with strong financial health. Also, I want to quickly train someone to take over as CEO.<\/p>\n<p>And it seems that\u2019s exactly what his company is now.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-23822 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/IMG_1322-1-800x600-1.jpeg\" alt=\"Porsche office chair\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Regarding cars, his stance is not &#8220;<strong>I want to drive a car that impresses others<\/strong>&#8221; but &#8220;<strong>I want to drive a car I like<\/strong>.&#8221; He currently drives a Porsche simply because he is genuinely attracted to the performance of Porsche cars.<\/p>\n<p>So, if he likes a car, he\u2019ll drive a Nissan Note or a Volkswagen Golf. Conversely, he absolutely won\u2019t drive a car just for show or to impress others.<\/p>\n<p>As for &#8220;<strong>competing where the odds of winning are high<\/strong>,&#8221; this is probably why people say he\u2019s &#8220;strategic&#8221; and &#8220;analytical.&#8221; He focuses on &#8220;<strong>fighting battles he can win<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When I was working hard and consulted him about business ideas, he often advised me,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">&#8220;That might be good, but there are too many rivals, so you won\u2019t win starting now.&#8221; &#8220;I\u2019d look for a way to win more easily.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Also, a few months after launching this Porsche blog, when I asked for his full support, he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Owning several Porsches, writing articles daily, and handling the blog\u2019s system side is pretty rare, so that\u2019s valuable. If we take it seriously, I think we can win. Let\u2019s do our best.<\/p>\n<p>Because of this way of thinking and acting, I think people around him see him as a &#8220;highly successful&#8221; and &#8220;smart&#8221; person.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23823\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/16711995_10212056181061734_3631011173564393724_n-800x533-1.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche LEGO\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When I asked him about all this, he said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">I do consciously think about these three things. <strong>If I\u2019m not comfortable and happy, I can\u2019t make others happy.<\/strong> Also, especially &#8220;<strong>I only fight battles I can win<\/strong>&#8221; is true. I get all kinds of business offers and information daily, but I <strong>never get involved in things others can do, things that don\u2019t suit me, or things I don\u2019t know about.<\/strong> So even though people say I\u2019m always trying new things, that\u2019s not true. I\u2019m quite cautious. I only do what I\u2019m good at, suited for, and most importantly, what I find fun and comfortable.
