Chiebukuro before and thought, &#8220;I see&#8230; there are quite a few husbands out there struggling with this kind of dilemma.&#8221; In fact, on this blog too, articles about <strong>husbands convincing their wives when buying a car<\/strong> or <strong>how to win over their wives<\/strong> consistently get a lot of views.<\/p>\n<p>Looking at the content of articles about &#8220;how husbands convinced their wives,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">&#8211; Actively helping with housework on days off<br \/>\n&#8211; Quitting smoking and drinking<br \/>\n&#8211; Stopping unnecessary spending<br \/>\n&#8211; Giving gifts to their wives<\/p>\n<p>it\u2019s clear that many are making various efforts.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"If_You_Want_a_Sports_Car_Earn_More_Money\"><\/span>If You Want a Sports Car, Earn More Money<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>When I told my husband, &#8220;<strong>It seems that many husbands out there really work hard to buy a sports car<\/strong>,&#8221; he said this:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Sure, I think it\u2019s important to save money and do what you can in the current situation, but the common theme is always \u2018saving\u2019 or \u2018keeping the wife happy.\u2019 Why don\u2019t more guys think about <strong>\u2018earning even a little more than now\u2019<\/strong>? I think if you earn more and bring more money home, it\u2019s easier for your wife to say yes. That\u2019s the quickest way. If the husband earns more, you can hire house cleaning services or babysitters, and the wife can relax more, have more time for herself, and be happier. Then, even if the husband does what he likes a bit, she won\u2019t complain. At least, that\u2019s how it seems from the people I know.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s true. While <strong>money isn\u2019t everything<\/strong>, married life and living together often aren\u2019t just about ideals, so money is extremely important.<\/p>\n<p>As a wife, it\u2019s out of the question if buying a sports car causes financial strain, and even if it doesn\u2019t, I really don\u2019t want <strong>the money available for myself and the kids to decrease, forcing us to make sacrifices<\/strong> because of it.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve experienced that even once, your image of sports cars worsens, and if your husband says, &#8220;<strong>I want to buy another sports car<\/strong>,&#8221; you\u2019ll probably strongly oppose it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23405\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/IMG_1314.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche 911 GT3 meter\" width=\"1200\" height=\"674\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Also, reading online articles made me think that it must be pretty troublesome if a husband \u201c<strong>used to take the lead in housework and childcare before buying the sports car, but stopped doing anything right after<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course, if such things become habits and can be done without much effort, that\u2019s totally fine. But since married life is long, if it\u2019s done with strain, it will become stress and eventually things won\u2019t go well.<\/p>\n<p>So, looking at the long term, I think it\u2019s better to focus on something \u201cthat can be continued and is a WIN-WIN for both yourself and those around you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That said, when I said, &#8220;<strong>Even if you want to earn more, it\u2019s not like your salary will suddenly jump up, so it\u2019s pretty tough<\/strong>,&#8221; my husband said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Sure, it\u2019s hard to do it immediately, and some might say, \u201cIf you\u2019re independent, maybe, but as a salaried worker, it\u2019s impossible.\u201d But thinking only about saving money and cutting costs is wrong. That\u2019s like unconsciously telling yourself, <strong>\u2018I can\u2019t earn any more than this\u2019<\/strong>. Of course, your income won\u2019t increase at that point. There\u2019s more than one way to earn money. Besides <strong>\u2018working yourself to earn,\u2019<\/strong> there\u2019s also <strong>\u2018having people or things work for you\u2019<\/strong> and <strong>\u2018having money work for you\u2019<\/strong>. You can increase income by getting ad revenue from a blog and <strong>having things work for you<\/strong>, or instead of just saving money every month, you can invest it. There are plenty of ways to earn a little extra in today\u2019s internet age. Yet many people are too fixated on <strong>\u2018earning by working (at a company, etc.)\u2019<\/strong>. So first, changing that mindset is important. I want to tell dads out there, \u2018Don\u2019t look away from earning money.\u2019<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Have_Your_Wife_Drive_the_Sports_Car_Too\"><\/span>Have Your Wife Drive the Sports Car Too<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>My husband continued with this:<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">Many wives oppose buying sports cars, but when you ask, &#8220;<strong>Have those wives actually driven a sports car?<\/strong>&#8221; I think most haven\u2019t. If they try driving a sports car, they can feel how great it is and experience the difference from regular cars. Also, <strong>it\u2019s important not just to ride shotgun but to actually drive it<\/strong>. Some people take their wives or girlfriends along as passengers to help them understand sports cars, but that\u2019s actually counterproductive. No woman will understand a sports car if she\u2019s stuck in a cramped, uncomfortable car. It makes sense if you go to a dealer together, test drive it, and then she says, &#8220;<strong>I still don\u2019t like it<\/strong>.&#8221; But I wonder why so many wives oppose something they haven\u2019t even experienced themselves.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23406\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/IMG_1740.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche 911 Cabriolet\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Well, that\u2019s true&#8230; In my case, I was a long-time non-driver with zero interest in cars, but I became interested in cars when my husband let me drive his SLK350 at the time.<\/p>\n<p>I was amazed, thinking, &#8220;<strong>This is totally different from my family\u2019s car&#8230;!<\/strong>&#8221; I couldn\u2019t believe that I, who used to nervously crawl along the left lane on the highway, was now confidently driving in the right lane.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5475\" style=\"width: 810px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5475\" class=\"size-large wp-image-5475\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/IMG_8312-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"Mercedes-Benz SLK\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-5475\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mercedes-Benz SLK<\/p><\/div>\n<p>You might say, \u201cEven so, it\u2019s pretty tough to take a wife who isn\u2019t interested in cars to a dealer for a test drive,\u201d but I still think it\u2019s worth the effort.<\/p>\n<p>Because <strong>seeing is believing<\/strong>. <span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">(Or rather, driving is believing\u2026)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>No matter how much a husband talks about how great the car is, if the wife isn\u2019t interested, she\u2019ll get bored and dislike the topic more and more.<\/p>\n<p>But if she actually sees a shiny sports car with her own eyes, she\u2019ll understand how cool it is, and when she drives it, she\u2019ll realize how amazing it is.
