Heading to The Momentum by Porsche<\/h3>\n

When my husband recently went on a business trip to Tokyo, he visited a restaurant on the first floor of Shiodome City Center near Shimbashi Station called “The Momentum by Porsche<\/a>.” Apparently, a customer who knew my husband loves Porsche had made a dinner reservation in advance for him.<\/p>\n

How lucky!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The Momentum by Porsche opened in December 2014 and is attached to the Porsche Center Ginza<\/strong>. It is said to be the world\u2019s only Porsche-certified restaurant<\/strong> at present. (There was a similar restaurant attached to the Porsche Experience Center in Los Angeles, but I guess it\u2019s positioned differently.)<\/span><\/p>\n

The Momentum by Porsche is a restaurant for Porsche owners and fans, designed to be easily accessible in various situations such as when you want to have lunch during work breaks<\/strong>, when you want to read or think quietly<\/strong>, when you want to enjoy dinner in a relaxing, cozy atmosphere<\/strong>, or when you want to enjoy drinks with friends at the bar<\/strong>. On their website, it says:<\/p>\n

\u201cFor Porsche fans who usually lead busy lives chasing deadlines, this is a place to unwind surrounded by what they love, at their preferred time \u2014 a true Pit Stop for our customers.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

What a wonderful concept.<\/p>\n

Porsche Everywhere Inside<\/h3>\n

Since it\u2019s attached to the Porsche Center Ginza, you can see Porsche display cars up close while dining.<\/strong> On that day, there was a blue Cayman on display.<\/p>\n

The stylish interior, dominated by white and black, isn\u2019t very large, and the restaurant was fully booked when my husband visited. Looking up, there are chic lights on the ceiling.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At first glance, they look like ordinary lights, but on closer inspection, each light contains a miniature car embedded inside.<\/strong> There are as many as 156 of them.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The mini cars arranged like a starting grid are also charming,<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

and you can feel Porsche everywhere throughout the restaurant.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Naturally, Porsche motifs are sprinkled throughout the menu and table settings as well.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere is calm, and the food was reportedly very delicious, especially the parfait, which was said to be incredibly tasty.<\/p>\n

These Porsche crest cookies are adorable. The soft serve ice cream looks absolutely delicious too. Ah, I want to try it\u2026<\/p>\n

When I asked my husband, “How much does dinner usually cost?<\/strong>” he said:<\/p>\n

This time, it was about 7,000 to 8,000 yen per person. I don\u2019t drink alcohol, so if you do, it might be more. It\u2019s not ridiculously expensive, but the flavors are authentic \u2014 a pretty great place. It\u2019s refreshing for Porsche fans in Kansai.<\/strong> I wish they\u2019d open one at the Porsche Center in Kansai; I\u2019d go all the time, haha.<\/p>\n

A Porsche Restaurant in Kansai, Please!<\/h3>\n

I really hope they open a Porsche restaurant in Kansai too. If they built one near our local Porsche Center, I think many people would visit frequently, haha.<\/p>\n

The town we live in is known nationwide for its high Porsche ownership rate (import car rate)<\/span>. Nearby, there\u2019s a street called Benz Street, where it\u2019s no exaggeration to say that one in three cars on the road is a German car.<\/strong> Also, at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant we recently stopped by, the parking lot was full of Porsches (laughs).<\/p>\n
