Welcome Home, PORSCHE<\/h3>\n

Today, I\u2019m not going to talk about cars, but rather share some thoughts about this blog. It\u2019s been a year since I decided to seriously run this Porsche blog, Welcome Home, PORSCHE<\/strong>, with support from my husband.<\/p>\n

Thanks to everyone, the blog has grown far beyond what I imagined a year ago. That said, it\u2019s still very much a work in progress, and lately I\u2019ve been spending more time thinking about<\/p>\n

\u201chow to take this Porsche blog to the next level.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Blog That Helps You Buy a Porsche<\/h3>\n

About a year ago, I decided to make this blog a helpful resource for people considering buying a Porsche<\/strong>. The reason is simple: I personally always felt there should be more useful information available for Porsche buyers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My husband still thoroughly researches magazines and the internet when considering a new Porsche. But even then,<\/p>\n

\u201cNope, I can\u2019t find the info I want anywhere. I guess I have to check overseas YouTube channels and websites.\u201d<\/p>\n

he often says, turning to foreign sources for information.<\/p>\n

Of course, Japan has plenty of valuable test drive reviews and articles from automotive media. But that alone isn\u2019t enough.<\/strong> At least for me, I want more real, authentic information.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to hear actual owner evaluations<\/strong> and how it feels to drive a Porsche not just on a test drive but over a longer period\u2014both the good and the bad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Porsche<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why this blog has focused on sharing as much information as possible about our own Porsche<\/strong> and publishing real voices from Porsche owners.<\/strong> Thanks to this, recently I\u2019ve received many messages and comments like<\/p>\n

\u201cI bought a Panamera thanks to your blog!\u201d \u201cI bought a Boxster!\u201d<\/p>\n

Also, from the owners who contributed to the Porsche Owners File<\/a> series, I\u2019ve heard<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for featuring my beloved car!\u201d \u201cI\u2019m glad if my experience helps readers even a little!\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m humbled and always say, \u201cNo, thank you!\u201d<\/strong> It\u2019s clear to me that this blog exists thanks to many wonderful people.<\/p>\n

Over this past year, through trial and error, I\u2019ve come to feel anew that what we\u2019ve done, even if just a little, has helped someone\u2014and that makes me really happy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Insights from Running the Porsche Blog<\/h3>\n

On the other hand, after a year, I\u2019ve made some new discoveries\u2014things I definitely didn\u2019t notice a year ago.<\/p>\n

Test Drives of Non-Porsche Cars<\/h4>\n

First, I found that test drive reviews of cars other than Porsche are surprisingly popular.<\/strong> (Volkswagen Golf, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, etc.)<\/span> Readers often comment things like, \u201cI\u2019ve been looking forward to your reviews of non-Porsche cars!\u201d<\/strong> or \u201cI also drive a \u25cb\u25cb, so I totally get it!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honestly, sometimes these posts get more reactions than the Porsche articles\u2014haha.<\/p>\n

Of course, the search volume for \u201cPorsche\u201d related terms is relatively low compared to domestic or other imported cars, which likely contributes to this.<\/p>\n

Also, many seem interested in test drive reviews by my husband, who has driven many different cars and is now a Porsche owner.<\/strong> (I need to work harder to write good reviews too!)<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

While test driving other brands, my love for Porsche remains unchanged, and I\u2019m still amazed by the Panamera\u2019s ride every day. But at the same time, I\u2019ve come to realize there are many other wonderful cars out there besides Porsche.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The S63 was a great car, for example.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I also believe that knowing various cars helps deepen my understanding of Porsche even more.<\/strong> That will allow me to add more breadth and depth to the blog.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, while Porsche will remain the core focus, I\u2019m thinking it might be fun to test drive and introduce interesting or trending cars more actively going forward.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our Family\u2019s Car Life<\/h4>\n

Second, I was surprised by how many people are interested in our family\u2019s and our life with cars.<\/strong> At first, I decided the main focus of this blog would be cars\u2014not lifestyle articles.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honestly, we\u2019re a couple who can\u2019t really write lifestyle posts even if we wanted to\u2014haha.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We\u2019re neither foodies nor fashionistas. Even when we eat out as a family, it\u2019s mostly at chain restaurants like conveyor belt sushi, Mos Burger, or Gusto<\/strong> (because they\u2019re delicious, of course!)<\/span> and even when traveling, we often go to chains. Our clothes are mostly from Uniqlo, and my husband wears them until they\u2019re threadbare (laughs).<\/p>\n

Because of this, I decided to keep the blog car-focused and not try to write stylish lifestyle posts.<\/p>\n

But as I occasionally write about family drives, conversations between my husband and me, or his touring adventures,<\/strong> I\u2019ve noticed those posts get good responses too. So I think it\u2019s fine to continue sharing stories about our somewhat quirky car life\u2014me, a wife who was \u201cbrainwashed\u201d by her car-obsessed husband since childhood (haha).<\/p>\n

Buying a Porsche Myself<\/h4>\n

When I started this blog, my goal was to buy a Porsche with my own money<\/strong>, and the blog\u2019s title was something like \u201cUntil the Day I Buy My Own Porsche.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"970<\/p>\n

The reason I set this goal is because<\/p>\n

\u201cRiding a Porsche bought by my husband and riding one I bought myself feel completely different in weight and enjoyment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Especially when it\u2019s your first Porsche,<\/strong> you research desperately, seriously consider specs and options, and the joy at delivery is an indescribable thrill.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll cherish it and develop affection for it over time\u2014these feelings come only from buying it with your own money.<\/p>\n

\u2026Plus, I have a weird pride about all the cars at home being my husband\u2019s, so I want at least one car of my own.<\/strong> (laughs)<\/p>\n

So readers who have followed this blog from the start sometimes say,<\/p>\n

\u201cMina, you haven\u2019t forgotten your goal to buy a Porsche yourself! Please make your dream come true!\u201d<\/p>\n

(Honestly, there was a time I forgot about this goal while busy running the blog\u2026)<\/span><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why when I recently bought a BMW myself, while my main purpose was to learn to drive a manual transmission, I also felt a desire to take at least one step closer to my goal of buying a Porsche myself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In other words, this blog can\u2019t end until I buy a Porsche with my own money (haha), and I want to run it with that goal more consciously than ever.<\/p>\n

The Future of This Porsche Blog<\/h3>\n

These are some of the thoughts that have been swirling in my mind lately. If this blog were a mountain climb, I\u2019ve just reached the first station.<\/strong> Now is the time to think about which route and methods to take to reach the second station.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As I climb to the fifth or sixth stations, I\u2019m sure the scenery will look completely different, and I\u2019ll think about what comes next when the time comes.<\/p>\n

This post ended up a bit scattered, but from now on, I want to run this blog more freely, without constraints.<\/strong> I don\u2019t want to be stuck on \u201conly Porsche articles because it\u2019s a Porsche blog\u201d<\/strong> or \u201conly car articles, not lifestyle.\u201d<\/strong> By watching how readers respond and expressing myself more freely, I believe I can reach a new stage.<\/p>\n

I want to keep embracing change, go with the flow, and humbly continue this blog.
