Since I often drive on highways, I decided to <strong>turn the daylight running lights ON<\/strong> for safety. That\u2019s pretty convenient.<\/p>\n<p>The actual installation is very simple \u2014 just <strong>plug it into the vehicle\u2019s OBD2 port<\/strong>. Once plugged in, the indicator light changes from green to yellow, signaling completion. Plus, it has a recovery mode, so you can <strong>easily revert the car back to its original state before installation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>So, I gave it a try right away.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">320i Daylight Running Lights ON<\/h3>\n<p>Even though it\u2019s simple, whenever I handle mechanical settings, unexpected issues often pop up or things don\u2019t work properly, so this time I asked my husband to do it. First, he plugged the PLUG DRL+ into the OBD2 board.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12082\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_0058-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12083\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_0059-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At first, the lamp lights up green, then quickly changes to yellow.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12084\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_0060-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next, he checked the daylight running lights option on the touchscreen light settings,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12085\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_0061-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and when I checked from the front, the daylight running lights came on without any problem. <span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">(It\u2019s a bit hard to see clearly since this was done during the day)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12087\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_0062-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Having the daylight running lights on really sharpens the front look and makes the car look very cool.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-12088\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/IMG_0098-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we previously turned on the daylight running lights on the 981 Boxster GTS, my husband said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">\u201cPorsche has such acceleration and power that you quickly reach the speed limit. When that happens, if the car ahead suddenly changes lanes without noticing you, it can be dangerous.
