Our home\u2019s parking area has a roof, but rain and wind blow in from the sides, so the car gets pretty dirty if we leave it uncovered. My husband had been saying, \u201cAs soon as the GT3 arrives, we absolutely have to order a car cover<\/strong>.\u201d So he recently got in touch with Nakabayashi Kogyo<\/a> (the company we always turn to for our car covers)<\/span> and received this reply:<\/p>\n We think it may work to follow the later GT3\u2019s shape up to the B-pillar, then blend into the current (991) GTS shape toward the rear. However, it\u2019s difficult to say for sure without seeing how the overall proportions come together. We\u2019d like to take measurements from the actual car and check the fit ourselves.<\/p>\n Nakabayashi Kogyo offers the first car cover free of charge as a thank-you to owners who bring in a new model after a full model change, or a vehicle the company has selected, and help them take measurements. My husband replied:<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019d be going to all the trouble of making a pattern for the GT3 Touring, and I\u2019m probably the only person who\u2019d order one, so I feel bad asking. It seems like you could combine the GTS and GT3 patterns and make it work. I\u2019d be happy as long as it fits reasonably well\u2026 I feel a bit guilty asking you to do this.\u201d<\/p>\n In the end, though, he brought the car in so they could measure it in person.
