Just recently, we set out with the Boxster and GT3 to take photos of the night view and our cars, but as expected, we were hit by a heavy rainstorm. In the end, it was just &#8220;<strong>paying for two driveway tolls, getting the cars soaked, and then heading straight home<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>After that experience,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well2\">\u201cFrom now on, instead of relying only on visual checks or weather forecasts, we\u2019ll also carefully check the rain cloud radar.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That became our new rule.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the other day, when I looked out from our balcony toward the sea, the view was remarkably clear far into the distance, so we thought, &#8220;<strong>Today we should be able to see a beautiful night view<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Checking the rain cloud radar confirmed no rain clouds would appear for several hours, so the four of us decided to head up the mountain in the Panamera.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13849\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4859-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">Night View and the Panamera<\/h3>\n<p>Usually, as we get closer to the observation deck, the sky starts to cloud over, but this time the sky held up. It wasn\u2019t perfectly clear\u2014<strong>there were some heavy clouds, but the distant view was bright and clear.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When we arrived at the observation deck, there were already quite a few cars, but according to my husband, &#8220;<strong>On a clear day like this, there would normally be even more cars.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13851\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4868-800x600.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13852\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4864-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The sunset was at 6:17 PM, and we arrived around 5:45 PM, so I let my husband handle the photography while I watched the sunset and let the kids play.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13855\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4861-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4872-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13854\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4870-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was over 30 degrees Celsius at the foot of the mountain that day, but it was definitely cooler at the observation deck. The breeze was refreshing, and there were hardly any mosquitoes. I wish Japanese summers were always like this. And <strong>while the kids played, my husband was busy taking photos of the Panamera the whole time (laughs).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13856\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_4869-800x600.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After a while, the sun set, and the city lights began to twinkle on, <strong>transforming the view instantly into a nightscape.<\/strong> The kids were excited, saying, \u201cWow, it\u2019s all sparkling and beautiful!\u201d Meanwhile, my husband pulled out his tripod and started taking photos more seriously than before (laughs).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13857\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/DSC03442-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13858\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_1423-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13859\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_1418-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-13860\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/IMG_1421-800x533.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After other cars gradually started leaving, we realized we had been at the observation deck for over an hour and a half. My husband was satisfied with the photos he took, so we headed back.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">Driving the Mountain Road in the Panamera<\/h3>\n<p>On the way back, we descended a dark mountain road, and I was reminded once again just how <strong>incredibly bright the Panamera\u2019s LED headlights are.<\/strong> In the city, with streetlights and shop lights, you don\u2019t really notice it, but out here it\u2019s a whole different story. My husband said,<\/p>\n<p class=\"well3\">\u201cIf this were an air-cooled Porsche, it\u2019d be scary not being able to see ahead, but with the Panamera, you can see far ahead clearly.
