My spouse and I love cars. My wife and I are at the level of “liking cars more than the average person<\/strong>,” but my husband is a full-blown car geek<\/strong>. People sometimes ask us, “Are your kids into cars as well?<\/strong>”<\/p>\n It’s common to hear stories like “I became interested in cars because my dad loved them<\/strong>,” but how about in our case?<\/p>\n \u2026Honestly, it\u2019s a bit iffy (laughs).<\/p>\n Well, they\u2019re still young, so who knows how things will turn out as they grow, but for now, they\u2019re “neither particularly car enthusiasts nor do they dislike cars<\/strong>.” The other day, I asked our eldest daughter, \u201cDo you want to drive a car when you grow up?\u201d and she replied:<\/p>\n No. I can\u2019t reach the pedals, and I\u2019m scared of crashing.<\/p>\n (I think you\u2019ll reach the pedals by the time you get your license, though, lol)<\/span> She also recently rode in a friend\u2019s minivan and was impressed by its size, spaciousness, and comfort, saying, “I want to ride in a car like that too. Why doesn\u2019t Dad buy one like that?<\/strong>” But my husband just said,<\/p>\n Nope (-_-)<\/p>\n and that ended the conversation.<\/p>\n As for our younger daughter, when she was about one year old, she would immediately sit in the driver\u2019s seat and grab the steering wheel whenever she got in a car, but she\u2019s stopped doing that recently.<\/p>\n Still, it\u2019s clear that the presence of cars is deeply rooted in their daily lives.
