Although navigation systems for classic Porsches have been available before, this can be considered a successor to those earlier models. The product is called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.porsche.com\/uk\/accessoriesandservice\/classic\/genuineparts\/producthighlights\/pccm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM)<\/a>, and it comes in two sizes: <strong>1DIN (PCCM) and 2DIN (PCCM Plus)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ytube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XlxNbTflqFw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Both models support DAB+ (the digital radio standard used in Europe), as well as <strong>Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth<\/strong>. Media playback options include SD card, USB, AUX, and Bluetooth. The 1DIN model features a 3.5-inch touch sensor display and is compatible with air-cooled Porsches from the original 911 through to the last air-cooled 993.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-17980\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/img_3-1280x720.jpg\" alt=\"Apple CarPlay in air-cooled Porsche\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the 996 generation 911 and 986 generation Boxster models could optionally be equipped with the 2DIN Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. Now, the PCCM Plus with a 7-inch touchscreen, designed to fit in the same space, has also been released.
