Time flies, and 2019 is almost over. I\u2019m truly grateful that my whole family stayed healthy and happy throughout the year, and that I was able to keep this Porsche blog going.<\/p>\n
Some of the most memorable moments for me this year were:<\/p>\n
\u2460 Bought a BMW 320i (MT)
\n\u2461 Learned to drive a Porsche with a manual transmission
\n\u2462 Made my YouTube debut
\n\u2463 Participated in a Porsche Driving School with a Boxster (MT)<\/p>\n
You could say it was a year full of manuals. As for the YouTube videos, I got so caught up in the process that filming and editing took a lot of time, and I haven\u2019t updated at all since summer\u2026 (-_-)<\/p>\n
Even though I splurged on an iMac just for video editing\u2026 (lol)<\/p>\n
Also, this year I finally met in person some people I\u2019d only interacted with on Twitter, at events and on the track, and those connections really expanded. It was truly a fulfilling year.<\/p>\n
Among all this, the biggest change for me in 2019 was deciding to take this blog more seriously than ever before<\/strong>. Until around summer, I was updating roughly every other day, but then I thought:<\/p>\n \u201cIf I want to stand out with this blog, I can\u2019t do it halfway. I have to go all in, even to the point of obsession.\u201d<\/p>\n So from September onward, I started updating the blog daily.<\/p>\n Balancing raising two kids while maintaining the quality of daily posts was no easy feat<\/strong>, but it pushed me to be more selective with topics and to stay more alert to ideas in everyday life. I also feel my husband has been more supportive than ever.<\/p>\n 2019 was a year when I really felt that once you commit seriously, not only you but also your surroundings start to change. Of course, the challenge has only just begun, but the progress I made this year has given me great confidence.<\/p>\n Also, I\u2019m always truly grateful for the messages and comments from readers<\/strong>. Thanks to the support and encouragement from so many of you, this blog exists.<\/p>\n I have a feeling next year will be a year beyond anything I can imagine. Along with excitement, there\u2019s some anxiety too, but I want to calmly and sincerely face the blog in front of me and keep expanding my opportunities.<\/p>\n To everyone who read and supported this blog throughout the year, thank you so much. This will be the last blog post of the year, and I plan to take it easy over the New Year holidays without posting. Then starting January 4th, I want to kick off a year of truly dedicating myself to the blog!<\/p>\n Thank you again for your support next year as well.
