Actually, since the end of last year, my health hasn\u2019t been great, so I haven\u2019t been able to drive or even sit at my computer to write the blog, which has been quite frustrating.<\/p>\n

So today, I want to share about how my husband went to Suzuka Circuit in his GT3 at the end of last year and wrote about how to get a license and drive there. Please take a look.<\/p>\n

Suzuka Circuit<\/h3>\n

When you hear \u201cSuzuka Circuit,\u201d even if you\u2019re not a motorsports fan or car enthusiast, you\u2019ve probably heard the name at least once. It\u2019s famous for F1 and the 8-hour endurance race, and I used to go watch F1 races there often. So, how can you drive your own car at Suzuka Circuit?<\/strong> Let me summarize the options.<\/p>\n

There are basically two ways to drive your own car at Suzuka Circuit:<\/p>\n

  1. Participate in a track day<\/strong> organized by tuning shops or owners\u2019 clubs<\/li>\n
  2. Obtain a license from Suzuka Circuit<\/strong> and drive<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you want to drive more casually, option 1, the track day, is recommended, and that\u2019s what I\u2019ve done so far. However, there aren\u2019t many dates available, and even if the dates fit your schedule, joining a track day organized by a group you don\u2019t know can feel a bit intimidating.<\/p>\n

    That\u2019s why I recommend option 2. It\u2019s actually very simple.<\/p>\n

    If you want to drive your own street-legal car on Suzuka Circuit\u2019s International Racing Course (the same course used for F1), you need to join the \u201cSMSC Challenge Club\u201d run by Suzuka Circuit, take a course, and get a license issued<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    This time, I\u2019d like to introduce how to drive your own street-legal car on the International Racing Course.<\/p>\n

    First, book the course by phone<\/h4>\n

    First, check the schedule for the course on Suzuka Circuit\u2019s official website<\/a>. There\u2019s a PDF on the site, and you\u2019ll find a row labeled \u201cChallenge Club<\/strong>\u201d for the International Racing Course. Choose a date that works for you from those listed.<\/p>\n

    Once you decide on a date, call the SMSC office number listed in the PDF to make a reservation<\/strong>. The lady on the phone will kindly explain everything, so you probably won\u2019t have any trouble, but it\u2019s good to decide the following points beforehand:<\/p>\n
