As the last 718 powered by an internal-combustion engine, it <strong>could become more sought-after over time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Electrifying the 718 is more than just a model change. It\u2019s a significant step in showing how Porsche will adapt to a new era. In that sense, this decision may prove to be a historic moment, much like the shift to water-cooled engines or the adoption of turbocharging.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, gasoline-powered 718 production is set to end, and the likelihood of these models being sold alongside the EV appears very low. That\u2019s what the available information tells us today.
