I\u2019ve shared my thoughts on it before in my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/entry\/991-speedster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blog post<\/a>, but its sound was truly something special. More than exhaust noise, it was pure, exhilarating sound\u2014a \u201cjoyous tone\u201d that poured down from above with the roof open. Meanwhile, the rear-engine 911 wields unique traction characteristics and that distinct \u201cpush\u201d sensation powering you through corner exits. These systems improve environmental performance but tend to muffle the exhaust note. Honestly, <strong>replicating the exhilarating sound of the 991 Speedster\u2019s exhaust might be tough under these constraints.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, the open-top design could be an advantage here.
