Looking back, about a year ago, <strong>right after I had them fixed and looking pristine,<\/strong> I scraped one while pulling into a ticket machine at a supermarket parking lot&#8230; and shortly after, while parallel parking to pick up my child, I scraped the opposite side.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;I&#8217;m just going to scrape them again anyway&#8230;&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8220;Maybe I&#8217;ll fix everything together the next time it happens.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Along with that mindset, I also felt a bit sheepish thinking, &#8220;<strong>Wait, didn\u2019t this person just get them fixed recently? They must be really bad at driving!<\/strong>&#8221; which made me hesitate to get them repaired again (laughs).<\/p>\n<p>Strangely enough, once I left the damage untouched, I didn&#8217;t scrape the wheels at all (laughs). Before I knew it, about a year had passed with the scratches just sitting there.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-45112\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_3493-1280x960.jpg\" alt=\"Taycan wheel repair\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">Heading to the Popular &#8220;Cho Bankin&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Ideally, I wanted to fix the wheels before changing the tires recently. However, the shop I trust, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/cho-bankin.com\/\">Cho Bankin<\/a>,&#8221; is so popular that it&#8217;s tough to get an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>I initially went just for an estimate, and about 2 to 3 weeks later, right after Golden Week, I finally received a call saying there was an opening. So, I was able to get the repairs done just recently.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve relied on Cho Bankin many times before for glass coating and wheel repairs.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"Ap1uZUVJ6q\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/entry\/tyo-ban-kin\/\">\u8d85\u677f\u91d1\u3067\u30bf\u30a4\u30ab\u30f3\u306e\u30db\u30a4\u30fc\u30eb\u4fee\u7406\uff06\u30ac\u30e9\u30b9\u30b3\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u3092\u304a\u9858\u3044\u3057\u305f\u3089\u60f3\u50cf\u4ee5\u4e0a\u3060\u3063\u305f\uff01<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);\" title=\"&#8220;\u8d85\u677f\u91d1\u3067\u30bf\u30a4\u30ab\u30f3\u306e\u30db\u30a4\u30fc\u30eb\u4fee\u7406\uff06\u30ac\u30e9\u30b9\u30b3\u30fc\u30c6\u30a3\u30f3\u30b0\u3092\u304a\u9858\u3044\u3057\u305f\u3089\u60f3\u50cf\u4ee5\u4e0a\u3060\u3063\u305f\uff01&#8221; &#8212; \u30dd\u30eb\u30b7\u30a7\u304c\u308f\u304c\u5bb6\u306b\u3084\u3063\u3066\u304d\u305f - \u30aa\u30fc\u30ca\u30fc\u30ba\u30d6\u30ed\u30b0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/entry\/tyo-ban-kin\/embed\/#?secret=XMJQSR01qt#?secret=Ap1uZUVJ6q\" data-secret=\"Ap1uZUVJ6q\" width=\"500\" height=\"282\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Their popularity has truly exploded recently, to the point where fellow Porsche owners around me often say, &#8220;<strong>It\u2019s really hard to get a reservation quickly.<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And it\u2019s no wonder, considering:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u30fbTheir pricing is transparent and straightforward<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u30fbYet the quality is incredibly high<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a shop that offers &#8220;<strong>affordable prices but outstanding quality,<\/strong>&#8221; which naturally makes it highly sought-after.<\/p>\n<p>This time, my Taycan\u2019s front wheels had extensive scratches on both sides, but the total cost for both was only 66,000 yen. Since same-day repair wasn\u2019t possible, I left the car there for one day.<\/p>\n<p>I brought the car in before noon, and the next morning I got a call saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s ready.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"style3a\">Flawless Finish and Looking Ahead with the Taycan<\/h3>\n<p>Looking at the repaired wheels, you simply can&#8217;t tell where the damage was. <strong>The finish was immaculate.<\/strong> Their skill is truly impressive, as always.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-45113\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_3733-1280x960.jpg\" alt=\"Taycan wheel repair\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-45114\" src=\"https:\/\/www.panamera-life.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_3732-1280x960.jpg\" alt=\"Taycan wheel repair\" width=\"1280\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;Next time, I\u2019ll really be careful not to come back to Cho Bankin&#8230;&#8221;<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p>I say that every time, but I\u2019m pretty sure I\u2019ll be back around this time next year\u2026 (laughs).<\/p>\n<p>By the way, it\u2019s been a year since I had the glass coating done, and even now, when it rains, the body repels water beautifully, keeping that sleek, glossy shine. I think it\u2019ll be fine for the rest of the year without any problems.<\/p>\n<p>As for the Taycan I\u2019m currently driving, if I were to sell it now, the trade-in value would be low and the resale wouldn\u2019t be great. Selling it would probably mean needing to pay extra. Moreover, this summer the mileage is expected to surpass 40,000 km.<\/p>\n<p>Given that, whether I sell now or a few years from now, the value won\u2019t change that much.
